Supply and installation of stud partition using Cstud. 48x0.5mm C-stud (IS 15961) placed at 610mm c/c in 50x0.5mm (IS 15961) floor and ceiling channel . Floor and Ceiling channel is anchored to the floor and True ceiling using Rawl plug Ø8x45mm {Material-IS 513 CR1 grade, Zinc coating, Pull Out Load-6.8kN for M30 concrete grade} /Hilti Nail anchor fasteners at 600mm c/c in center line manner. Floor channel to be wrapped with 70µ Self Adhesive LDPE moisture barrier film to further improve corrosion resistance performance. A noggin channel {Material-IS 513,Y/S-300Mpa, Finish - AZ150 (IS 15961)} of 48x0.5mm width has to be provided at the horizontal joints of the two boards. The frameowrk to be packed with 50mm th. 48kg/Cum. density Rockwool insulation infill to be covered with RP Tissue placed in metal framework. Framing to be wrapped with Double layer of 12.5mm thick Standard Gypsum plasterboards (Confirming to IS 2095: Part 1) is screw fixed vertically to either side of wall Studs with 25mm long Drywall Screws at 300mm centers. The screw fixing of Gypsum plasterboards to the metal framing at the periphery, openings and cut edges should be at 150mm centers. The horizontal and vertical joints of the Gypsum plasterboards on both sides of the metal framework must be staggered so as to avoid through and through joints. All joints to be taped and finished with 50mm wide Paper tape and All Purpose Joint compound. (Confirming to ASTM C475). The junction of the partition with masonry and all penetration through the partition has to be treated with Hilti/Pyroplex fire and acoustic sealant. All other detailing and specifications to be followed as per manufacturer specifications

132mm thick Gypsteel ULTRA™ stud partition which includes two layers of tapered edge 15mm thick Gyproc® FRMR (conforming to IS 2095 Part 1 : 2011) fixed to either side of 72mm Gypsteel ULTRA™ Acoustud (0.5mm thick having one flange of 34mm and another flange of 72mm made of GI Steel). Studs are placed at 610mm centre to centre in 72mm Gypsteel ULTRA™ floor and ceiling channel (0.5mm thick have equal flanges of 32mm made of GI steel). Floor and ceiling channel are anchored to the floor and ceiling slab using suitable anchor fasteners(Anchor fastener HILTI HLC 8X40/HILTI X-GN20MX) at 600mm c/c in zigzag manner. 15mm thick Gyproc® FRMR board strip of 94mm width is placed between ceiling channel and ceiling slab to improve fire performance of the system. Stud and floor channel are crimped together by using crimping tool. A 92mm Gypsteel ULTRA™ noggin channel (0.5mm thick having two flanges of 40mm each) is to be fixed using Gyproc® Metal to Metal flat head screws at the horizontal joints of the boards. The boards are to be fixed vertically to the framework with joints staggered to avoid leakage through joints with Gyproc® drywall screws of 25mm and 35mm at 600mm C/C at centre and 300mm C/C at periphery of board. Finally square and tapered edges of the boards are to be jointed and finished so as to have a flush look which includes filling and finishing with Gyproc® Jointing compound, Gyproc Joint Paper tape (as per recommended practices of Saint- Gobain Gyproc India) The junction of the partition with masonry and all penetration through the partition has to be treated with fire sealant. M3 Rockwool of density 64Kg/m3 has to be provided with RP tissue cover in the framework.
