Clearing and cutting of the shrubs, vegetation grass, bushes, plants and saplings grown and surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep including removing the materials to a distance not exc 60 mtr complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F in repair of Rigid non metallic heavy grade PVC conduit of dia 20 mm including of all Tee, bends, elbows, reducers, and fixing such as couplers lock nuts, saddles, pipe hooks etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour earthing complete with galvanised earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metre below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.50 metre below ground level, earth plate surrounded by 15cm thick and packed with layers of charcoal dust and common salt, GI strip of size 25x4mm to GI earth plate electrode by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and thimbles and other end of earth wire connected to main switch board and protected by galvanized iron light grade 40mm bore and GI pipe 20mm bore medium grade with funnel and wire mesh for watering including necessary excavation and earth works. concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:1.5:3) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) and all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR (Part-1)of 2009 including taking down of unserviceable earthing complete all as specified and as directed. (Note:- (i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to test point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.
