M&L for preparation of old black bituminous top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete in all respect as specified & directed
M & L applying tack coat cationic emulsion RS-I grade ,2.5 Kg/ X Sqm using mechanical sprayer complete in all respect as specified & directed.
M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/ rolled & compacted to required gradient & camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen of VG-30 at the rate of 4% by weight of total mix complete in all respect as specified & directed
M & L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping, free from dust and mud of water scoring sunken surface in road etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat of cationic emulsion RS I grade @ 2.5Kg per 10 sqm putting in premixed bituminous macadam well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blended with 0.09 cum of stone chippings using 6.3 mm size and again well rammed complete in all respect as specified and directed.
Providing & laying design mixed, semi dense bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-30, rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with power road roller exc 8 tonne & n.exc 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified & directed.
S & F in cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instruction etc. all as specified and directed.
M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n.exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.
NOTES :- 1. For the items for which specifications not mentioned any where in the tender, the IRC specifications shall be followed. 2. Unless otherwise specified the rates for PCC shall deemed to include the cost of formwork shuttering etc., required for complete and proper execution of the work. Refer Schedule "A" notes for details.
