Material and labour for restoration of water supply by identifying and rectifying the water supply leakage repair work, at any location, in any type of leakage i.e. 15mm/ 20mm/25mm of GI/PPR pipes with any type of joints i.e. flanged, socketed,welding joint, including required fittings such as socket/ union/ long screw/ nipple, by cutting/ threading as required at site and as directed. Earth work (if required) will be measured in the quoted rate of this item. Note : (i) Any material required for leak repair deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (ii) Any length of pipe required shall be paid sepertately under relevant item.

If water is continue flowing in that water pipe line at the location of leakage, the contractor is fully responsible to arrest the water leakage in that situation also in all respect. Note : (i) Any material required for leak repair deemed to be included in the above quoted rate. (ii) Any length of pipe required shall be paid sepertately under relevant item.

Greasing shall be done with grease gun. Rate of grease, nut bolt, washer shall be included in quoted rate of this item. Note :- Complaints attended in one day shall deemed to be in one complaint. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (ii) Number of column pipe may vary from 20 to 30. The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes and new MS pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling mechanically and electrically, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, welding , etc of broken steel sections of pump, full stator slot repair including rotor sleeve grinding and polishing and balancing (if required), reassembling the Pump & motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for 20 to 30 HP capacity, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 HZ, AC supply pumps & motors. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these items. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding. (iii) Painting of complete submersible pump motor set will be carried out by contractor after complete repair of the same and the cost of the painting work will be included in quoted rate of this item.

(iii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & fro of pumps/ motors to workshop for necessary repairs. (iv) The rate quoted for the item shall include re-metaling of Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to match with Bush/Neck-ring/ sleeve etc (v) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' (vi) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts i.e. washers, keys for coupling, cable packing ring etc.

Material and labour for replacement of rubber gasket 4mm thick of size 100mm joints in flanged end cast iron / MS column pipes and fittings and necessary nuts/bolts/washers complete all as specified and directed.
