Taking out of existing LT UG cable of size 3½/4 core, 10 to 25sq.mm including taking out protection bricks complete all as specified and directed. [Note: Earth work & excavation will be measured and paid separately].

Supply, lay, connect, test and commissioning of LT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade of size 4 core 16 sq.mm complete all as specified and directed. [Note: (i) Necessary test results like continuity test, megger tests shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge before the cable is laid. Excavating manually in trenches n. exc. 1.5m wide and n. exc. 1.5m in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes etc. n. exc. 10sq.m. on plan and n. exc. 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil.

Supply and spread river sand as in cushioning for UG cable all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR Part I. [Note: Punned down thickness shall be considered for payment]

Supply and laying well burnt sub class ‘B’ bricks (old size brick) laid in trenches above sand cushioning for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm in any type of soil all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50m above the starting point all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sub main wiring concealed complete with two runs of 1100 Volts grade 6 sq.mm (nominal area) single core PVC insulated unsheathed cable with multi-stranded copper conductor of FR-LSH grade drawn through and including 25mm dia non metallic rigid PVC conduit and conduit accessories concealed in walls/ roofs/ floors etc. with one run of 1100 Volts grade 6 sq.mm (nominal area) single core PVC insulated unsheathed cable with multi-stranded copper conductor of FR-LSH grade as earth continuity conductor all as specified including taking down existing burnt wiring. [Note:- M&L for cutting chases for concealed conduit wiring on any surfaces and making good disturbed surfaces to match with the existing surfaces in cement mortar 1:3 and finishing with existing finishes shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.]
