EMERGENCY MOBILIZATION OF FABRICATION TEAM WITH ALL REQUIRED / NECESSARY - EQUIPMENTS / TOOLS -TACKLES etc. ALONGWITH AVAILABILITY OF REQUIRED NDT TEAM WITH REQUIRED CONSUMABLE FOR ATTENDING THE EMERGENCY OF GAS LEAK / BURST / DAMAGE TO STEEL PIPE LINE (UPTO SIZE 10") IN FIROZABAD (THE SCOPE INCLUDES ALL EMERGENCY RELATED WORKS, TRENCHING AS REQUIRED, EXECUTION OF WORK WHICH MAY INCLUDE REPLACEMENT OF PIPE PIECE / INSTALLATION OF LEAK REPAIR CLAMP / WELDING IF REQD / NDT IF REQUIRED / COATING IF REQUIRED AND THEREAFTER BACK FILLING / RESTORATION OF SITE AS REQD). THE PIPE, PIPE FITTINGS & LEAK REAPIR CLAMP ARE FREE ISSUE MATERIALS. ALL OTEHR MATERIALS $ CONSUMABLES ARE IN THE SCOPE OF CONTRACTOR. WELDING IF REQUIRED WILL BE PAID SEPARATELY AS PER SOR ITEMS. THE READINESS & AVAILABILITY WITH QUALIFIED TEAM WITH ALL RESOURCES TO BE ENSURED AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE OR WITHIN 06 HRS AFTER INTIMATION FROM EIC. THIS SOR IS TO BE BASED ON INCIDENT BASIS.

For MDPE PIPELINE

Emergency mobilisation of team comprising adequate skilled & unskilled manpower and machinery, tools & tackles, etc. as applicable for providing services for jointing of underground MDPE pipeline size 20-125 mm dia. in case of any damage resulting in gas leakage including excavation, squeezing the pipeline, cutting, preparing and fusion welding the fittings, leak test, backfilling and complete restoration of site to its original condition in all respect. The work includes deployment of machineries like JCB, de-watering pump, Fusion Welding Machine, etc. in all type of surface such as normal soft surface, hard surface, RCC pavement, etc. The contractor shall also ensure barricading of site, public handling, etc. The supply of all materials (except MDPE pipe fittings) shall be in the scope of contractor. MDPE Pipes & MDPE Fittings will be supplied by GAIL Gas. The readiness and availability of team with all resources to be ensured as early as possible or within 04 hrs. after intimation from EIC. This SOR item is based on per incident basis.

PIPELINE LAYING / INSTALLATION (CARBON STEEL PIPES)

Receiving and taking over as defined in the specifications, handling, loading, transportation and unloading of Owner supplied 3-Layer PE coated line pipes alongwith associated fittings and valves from Owner's designated stock-yard(In Agra City Gate Station /FZD CGS/Bharatpur Stores/Kosi Stores - as mentioned in scope of work) to Contractor's stock yard / workshop / work-site including preliminary activities, preparation of drawings, wherever required for crossing etc. including handling, stacking, stringing on the pipe line Right-of-Use / pipeline route alignment, carrying out inspection of company supplied materials including line pipes at the time of taking over, laying / installation of coated line pipes, associated fittings and accessories ( including Elbows/bends/Valves/IJ/Flanges/ Reducers/Tees, etc. the supply part is separate), including execution of all works, "taking over", handling, including loading and unloading, arrangement of all additional lands required for Contractor's storage, fabrication, access for construction, procurement and supply of all materials (except Owner supplied materials), consumables (such as Gaskets of required size/Nut-Bolts/studs/Flanges if required etc), equipment, labour and other inputs, carrying out all temporary, ancillary, auxiliary works, ready for commissioning of pipeline as per drawings, specifications, other provisions of Contract document and instructions of Engineer-in-charge, including but not limited to carrying out the following works. However, the above ground pipe line laying /installation /erection works may be considered through Mechanical Works, if additional.Checking, cleaning, aligning, bending, cutting and bevelling (as required) of pipes for welding and field adjustments including pipe fittings, welding, carrying out NDT of welds as required including 100% radiography by X-Ray / Gamma Ray as per Specification in piping of all types (sizes/thickness/schedule) by an Approved Vendor with all relevent Competent Supporting Documents (interpretation of NDT by Owner's Appointed/Approved Third Party) and providing all requisite equipment, labour, supervision, materials, films, consumables, all facilities and personnel to process, develop, examine and interpret radiographs and other tests as required, carrying out repairs of weld joints found defective, carrying out re-radiography and other tests as required on repaired joints etc. as mentioned in Special Condition of Contract (SCC) & Particular Job Specification. Line pipe laying & installation with radiography by X-ray/Gamma Ray. Installation of carrier line pipe at all crossings viz road, cartrack, pathway, drain, nallah & minor water crossings etc. at designated depth by open cut (including laying of casing pipe) (except at HDD / moling / Boring cased crossings which is covered separately elsewhere in this SOR).Protective coating including supply of coating & other materials duly approved by owner for all piping valves, fittings, structural steels etc. for buried installation and inside the valve pit.

Carrying out air cleaning, pigging, flushing, cleaning and hydrostatic testing of complete pipeline with required quantity of corrosion inhibitor including pre-testing of designated sections complete as per specification and approved by Engineer-In-Charge to specified pressures indicated elsewhere and duration after stabilization as per specification, providing all equipment, pumps, fittings, instruments, ( if required Dead Weight Tester, Pressure Recorder, Thermocouples etc. also) and services, supervision, labour, consumables, water including supply of corrosion inhibitor, air, etc. as required, locating of leaks and rectification of defect attributable to Contractor (rectification of defects in linepipe material not attributable to contractor shall be paid separately as per other item of schedule of rate), re-testing after rectification, dewatering after successful completion of hydrotesting of entire section and as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. Complete commissioning of the laid pipe line after filling Nitrogen ( inert atmosphere) and as per standard procedures approved by the Third Party / Consultant / authorized representative of GAIL Gas as per instruction of EIC. All the site requirement or consumables are included in the scope of contractor and the decision of EIC will be final in any case. Complete back filling OR restoration of the trench loose soil or digged soil ( throughout the pipe line lenth ) to be back filled as normal and final clean up of the area up to the satisfaction of Consultant/GAIL Gas /EIC and the reports are to be submitted, however if the additional work is invoved in restoration that is to be paid extra if needed.

Note: The above ground pipe line works for (any size) is to be taken care from the mechanical works and payments are be regulaized as per mech works SOR.

SLEEVE WELDING

Longitudinal Butt welding and Circumferencial Lap Welding of Sleeve / Clamp of any size/thk ( dia up to 10") on the Carrier pipe line (charged gas pipe line)

Installation of Full Encirclement of Split Sleeve by Welding on Natural Gas Charged Pipe Line ( up to dia 10”) with proper Procedures & Safety. This all will include the shifting / transporting of Sleeve from Desisnated GAIL Gas Stores to the site, excavation on site as per requirement, Peeling off / removal of Coating from the Pipe Line, carrying out the described jobs, all type of NDT/Tests, as per requirements & instruction of EIC, Coating of the Sleeve and back filling & clearing of the site by a Qualified Team ( Welder/Fitter/etc) as per other site coordination, if required is in the scope of Contractor. The complete responsibility of complete works lie with the contractor,including any liasioning required during the work execution. Contractor has to manage all sorts of compensation /insurance policy, as required.

INSTALLATION OF CARRIER PIPE CROSSINGS BY HDD METHOD AT CROSSING WITHOUT CASING PIPE

Complete work of installation of carrier pipe at crossings (between the limits as defined in approved drawings) by HDD method for road, nallah, drain and canal wherever required in all types of soils and terrains including "Receiving and taking over" owner supplied three layer PE coated line pipes from Owner's designated place of issue / dump site(s) and transportation to Contractor's stock yard / work shop / work site including all handling, loading, unloading, aligning etc. supply of all Contractor supplied material including manpower, equipment, consumables, other resources and aquiring the required land for storage, fabrication inclduing string preparation of pipes, welding, welding repair, radiography, coating of field joints with special type Heat Shrink Sleeve and repair of pipeline coating with special repair patch materials as per Specification, Strapping of CS conduit with main pipeline subducted with HDPE conduit for laying / blowing of OFC cable, pre-testing etc. of complete string made, etc. and execution of, but not limited to, following works in accordance with specifications and instruction of engineer in charge and as per all provision of contract document.

Note:The length mentioned in SOR is indicative for all the crossing to be done by HDD & locations shall be decided by GAIL Gas/ Consultant prior to start of job depending upon site condition. Payment for the length of final tied in carrier pipeline string with mainline laid by HDD are inclusive in this above item rate. No any separate payment shall be made under other clauses mentioned elsewhere.

Complete work for providing tap-off on underground / aboveground pipeline including supply of all associated required fittings, flanges,consumables, excluding valves (which are covered separately), arranging all manpower, machineries, tools & tackles, consumables (coating on the welded portion OR opened-cleaned-buffed portion for shut down including supply of coating materials), excavation for the pipe line trenching up to the required depth & sizes and restoration to original condition after works completion and NDT also for Hook-up with existing pipeline with all precautions, as per standard norms / practice & instruction of Engineer-in-charge. Instead of Hook-up with existing pipeline the work may involve Removing existing Leak Repair Clamp by Cutting damaged pipe piece out & Replacement with welding of 1 M (approx.) CS Pipe including Hydrotesting & Transportation of the CS Pipe piece from GAIL Gas' Stores at Firozabad Kosi & Cutting, Beveling, NDT, etc. Note: Above work may involve Inertization & purging of the pipeline section with Nitrogen prior to start of welding work and payment will be made separately as per respective SOR Item. Wherever applicable dismantling of existing structures such as RCC drain, etc is to be done without stopping the flow of water by making alternative arrangement for water flow till completion of work and reconstruction of the dismantled structure. The rate to include necessary arrangement for maitaining water flow. Payment for Dismantling and Reconstruction will be made separately through respective SOR Items.

METERING SKID

ERECTION / INSTALLATION OF METERING SKID ON FOUNDATION at the desired location (Skid type upto G-600 metering skid with Size up to 4.5 Mtr. x 2.5 Mtr. / 5.0 MT of Weight) including the labour cost / arrangement of Crane or required machinery cost & necessary coordination at site.

TRANSPORTATION OF METERING SKID: Shifting of metering skid (type upto G-600 metering skid with Size up to 4.5 Mtr. x 2.5 Mtr. / 5.0 MT of Weight)), from Firozabad CGS/any Firozabad industrial customer , Agra CGS/any Agra industrial customer or Kosi Store Yard and Erection / Installation on foundation in the premises of consumer (or) removal from foundation from the consumer premises and shifting to ACGS or Agra industrial customer premises / FCGS or Firozabad industrial customer premises / Kosi store yard. The item also includes the arrangement for loading / unloading and the necessary labour cost etc.

DISCONNECTION OF EXISTING CONNECTIVITY:

Disconnection of existing CS pipeline: Excavation of pit suitable for work, disconnection of existing connectvity upto 4" size of CS line during shut down (to be arranged by owner) from the main/branch line by cold cutting, capping/plugging by End Cap of requisite size (to be provided by owner) through welding, its NDT including supply of all manpower, machineries & nitrogen gas for local purging etc. The work shall also include removal of above ground pipe spool, fittings (size upto 4"), TLP etc. from the premises of consumer and its shifting to GAIL Gas designated stores /yard as per instruction of EIC. The pipeline piece which can not be recovered shall be dealt as unusable. (However, the above ground disconnection is to be treated as normal joint.)

MISCELLANEOUS MECHANICAL WORKS :

WELDING WORKS: Receiving, handling, loading, transportation and unloading of all Owner supplied materials from Owner's designated stock-yards to Contractor's own stock-yards/workshops/work-sites including, preparation of drawing, welding of pipe spools & associated fittings, supply of all consumables, manpower/machineries, supervision and shifting of welded spools to consumer end as per instructions of Engineer-in-charge.

CUTTING & RE-BEVELING: Removal of flanges/fittings from existing piping spools by gas cutting/grinding, edge preparation inlcuding supply of all manpower, supervision, consumables etc.

RADIOGRAPHY (X-Ray/ Gamma Ray): Performance of radiographic inspection on piping of all types, sizes, thickness including providing or hiring of all necessary equipment, tools and tackles though not expressly mentioned but requied to perform the work as per specification and instruction of Engineer-in-charge. Radiographs & reports shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge.Contractor's scope include RT report is prepared and signed by minimum NDT level-2 qualified inspector. Other then SOR rate no extra payment shall be paid for such RT report.

Purging with Nitrogen for Existing U/G pipline system: Inertization & Purging of the pipeline section with Nitrogen for existing underground pipeline network prior to carrying out hotwork during shutdown,including supply of all equipment, man-power, consumables (including nitrogen required for purging/filling), materials for all temporary works and performing all associated works, complete as per the relevant specifications, and instructions of Engineer-in-charge.

STEEL FABRICATION & MECHANICAL WORKS

Fabrication of MS Structural / Mechanical works of different sizes (all materials to be ISI Marked) including procurement of materials i.e hinges nuts, bolts, washers of all sizes etc. / MS plates/ Sheets of reqd size as per site requirements / EIC, primer, coating / painting etc. and transportation at site, as required (complete in all respect), any specific part /piece/materials may be paid separately, if required however fabrication part remains included. Fabrication & Fixing of Different type of fabricated structures / mechanical covers for valve pits / man holes with its frame, if required and other supports, etc. (this will include the removal of old/ damaged scrap materials from site to the designated place as instructed by EIC, if required).

CIVIL WORKS

Dismantling of Existing RCC work / any Civil Structure. The purpose of dismantling is to make required space for the welding or other work to be done.

TRIAL PITS : Excavation of trial pits required for various pre-shutdown activiites for line locating and other works as per instruction of EIC

RCC WORK: Providing Reinforced Cement Concrete of grade (1: 1.5: 3) with 20mm and down grade crushed stone aggregate in all types of structures like RCC Wall, foundations, pedestals, pedestal bases, pipe supports, etc. at all depths and heights complete as per drawings, specifications and direction of the EIC. (Including cost of providing Shuttering etc. but excluding Supply of Reinforcement Steel which will be paid separately as per SOR Item).

REINFORCEMENT STEEL: Supplying, Fabricating & Fixing in position HYSD Steel Reinforcement / TMT Grade Fe-415 conforming to IS 1786-1985 at all level (all depth & height ) and positions including the cost of Transport, Straightening, Cutting, Bending , Cranking, Binding, Welding, provision of necessary chairs and Spacers, as per drawings and specifications and including the cost of binding wire, labour etc. as per scope of work and direction of EIC.

EXCAVATION WORKS: Earth work in excavation below ground level for all kinds of works in all types of soil as directed by EIC for a depth up to site requirements (for the purpose meant for taking up any work by owner) including removal of vegetation, shrubs and debris, cutting and dressing of sides in slopes, levelling, grading and ramming of bottoms, de-watering of accumulated water from any source and keeping the surface dry for subsequent works and if required disposal or stacking of excavated material at undisputed place, as directed including providing temporary supports to existing service lines like water pipes, sewage pipes, OFC, electric overhead and underground cables etc. all complete.

PAINTING ON STEEL STRUCTURES/ SKIDS/aboveground piping: Painting of Steel Structures / Skids/ aboveground piping after surface preparation which are situated at various locations of city. Scope includes removal of dust, grease and loosely adhering paint with wire brush, emery paper and cleaning with linen cloth. Primer shall be high solid polyamine cured epoxy one. Finish coat should be of epoxy paint of approved brand such as Burger/Narolac/Asian Paints. Colour as per instruction of EIC.

RESTORATION

Restoration of RCC / PCC Road / Area

Restoration of damaged RCC / PCC road/ area during execution / construction work by using standard tools, tackles and practices, including all bye works, complete as per existing specifications & directions and satisfaction of of E.I.C / concerned authority (rates include cost of labour, tools,equipment, hire charges & supply of all materials and consumables)

Excavation of pit suitable for work, disconnection of existing connection sizes upto 125mm of PE line during shut down (to be arranged by owner) from main/branch line by cold cutting/plugging by End Cap of requisite size upto 125mm to be (provided by owner) through fusion wwelding, its testing including supply of all manpower, machneries & nitrogen gas for local purging etc. The work shall also include removal above ground fitting etc upto 125 mm from the premises of consumer and its shifting to stores as per EIC
