Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surface in area not exceeding 400sqm, exceeding 50mm deep and not exceeding 100mm deep and removing the unserviceable materials/ debeirs not exceeding 50m and dispose off complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparing scarified black top surfaces/ unsurfaced WBM surfaces of roads by brushing with wire brush for removing cracked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10/VG-30 grade at the rate of 10 Kg per 10Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying premixed bituminous macadam (using binder not less than 4% by weight of total mix) rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using VG-30 paving bitumen, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Repair to potholes not exceeding 1.0sqm each, depth exceeding 30mm, including sweeping free from dust & mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying a tack coat at 5.0kg per 10sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed & sealed with binder 9.8kg per 10sqm, blinded with 0.09cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size & again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder & chippings) complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Pot holes shall be marked by Engineer-in-charge before commencement of work and the same shall be entered in MB after making good and before laying bituminous carpet.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces of roads by brushing with wire brush for removing cracked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with paving bitumen VG-10 grade at the rate of 5.0Kg per 10Sqm and laying bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete, 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-30 grade mixed in computerized hot mix plant and laid with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber or gradient using 8 to 12 ton power roller complete all as directed and specified.

M&L for preparing bituminous road surfaces and marking 2.5mm thick lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc and the like, not exceeding 10cm wide on road & pavements with hot applied Thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand stone kerb of roughly squared stones of size 15cm x 30cm, all surfaces hammer dressed so that the maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 20mm jointed in cement mortar 1:6 and struck flus complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 150mm thick approved moorum/ Red Bajri filling, spreaded even, compacted and finished as in road berms complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs metal tubular delineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomeric 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in 150x150x300mm size PCC 1:2:4, type B1using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed

S&F in repair Road safety polycarbonate convex traffic mirror 80cm dia, encased in ABS materials, highly visible orange colour/visor for outdoor type, weather proof, brackets with horizontal and vertical angle adjustment fixed in and including 2.10m high and 75mm dia GI pipe as stand, fixed in ground with 60cm x60cm x75 cm PCC block with cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and including necessary form work, earth work excavation, removal of excess soil to a distance not exceeding 50m etc., complete all as specified and directed.

Manufacturing, supplying and fixing retro reflective Overhead informatory road signage and boards, made up of 2 mm thick aluminium sheet, face to be fully covered with high intensity and encapsulated lens type heat activated retro reflective sheeting conforming to type - III of ASTM D-4956-01 as approved by Engineer-in-charge, letters, borders etc. as per IRC : 67-2001 in silver white with blue colour back ground and with high intensity grade, pasted on substrate by pressure sensitive adhesive backing which shall be activated by applying pressure conforming to class II of ASTM-D-4956-01 and fixing the same to the plate of structural frame work by means of suitable sized aluminium alloys, rivets or bolts & nuts @ 300 mm centre to centre all along the periphery as well as in two vertical rows along with theft resistant measures, including the cost of painting with two or more coats of epoxy paint in grey colour on the back side of aluminium sheet including appropriate priming coat. The rate includes the cost of rounding off the corners, lowering down the structural frame work from the gantry, fixing and erecting the same in position all complete as per drawings, specification and direction of the engineer-in-charge.(Structural frame work including M.S. plate to be provided separately. Rectangular area of the sheet only shall be measured for payment).
