| 1General note applicable to all sections : 1) Only sieved river sand confirming to Zone-II from Godavari river or Varaha river or Vamsadhara river or Sarada river or Nagavali river / Crushed stone sand shall be used as fine aggregate and Graded hard broken granite metal of 3 stage (VSI) material shall be used as coarse aggregate in relevant items. Specification for fine and coarse aggregate shall confirm to IS:383 (latest revision) 2) In view of limit on water-cement ratio for durability requirements in design mix concrete, concrete admixtures (Carboxylate based superplasticizers of makes for guidance to bidders as per annexure B of section VII) can be used after taking prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge and the rates quoted for concrete items shall be inclusive of the cost of admixtures, Design mix, trial mixes, testing (at site & at approved labs), etc. complete. 3) The contractor shall set up automatic batching plant/sufficient number of self loading mobile concrete mixers inside the project area for the production of concrete. 4) Contractor may also be allowed to procure concrete from prior approved RMC plants on prior approval of the BARC subject to maintain required slump at site during pouring.To that extent suitable Mix Design should be carried out with required retention period. 5) Manufacturer's Test certificate of cement which is procured from dealer/company is to be submitted for all cement related works by the contractor. 6) "Substrcture" refers to the part of structure upto top level of ground floor grade slab and "Superstructure"refers to the part of structure above the top of the ground floor grade slab. | |||||
| 1.1 | 7) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document "General Scope of all works" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items.
8) The quoted rates shall include necessary royalties, seigneiorage charges,etc. and all other charges to supply all the required construction materials.
9) For all standards and code of practices, specifications, like Indian Standard, MORT&H, ASTM, etc. refer only latest revisions including all applicable amendments, revisions and additional publications (during contract period) and these have to be followed.
10)Prior approval for source of all construction materials by submission of relavent test certificates, documents, invoices etc. have to be taken from BARC.
11) All the tests mentioned in Quality Assurance Plan(QAP) should be carried out without any extra cost.
12) The contractor has to submit all royalty /seigneiorage slips,etc for all the naturally available construction materials before submitting the RA bills. | - | - | - | - |
| 3Boring/drilling of 400mm dia bore hole by suitable method in all types of soils including hire & running charges of all equipments, tools, plants & machineries required for the job, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, upto 2 metre depth below the existing ground level. | |||||
| 5Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) of grade M-30 using 20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of approved quality including Super Plasticisers of approved quality if required, including weigh batching, mechanical mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating, consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and reinforcement complete as per specifications up to Plinth Level. Note: 1) The minimum cement content shall be 390kg/Cum of concrete. However, actual cement content required shall be based on design mix requirements carried out at BARC approved (NABL accredited) laboratory. In case the cement quantity consumed more than the specified above, the cost towards extra cement will not be paid. | |||||

"Providing and erecting a W-beam metal crash barriers (single-sided) following MoRTH specifications requiring 3mm thick cold-rolled steel rails (corrugated profile), at or above 730± 25mm from road/ ground level, fixed on ISMC Series Channel 150mm x 75mm x 5mm Vertical ISMC Post spaced at 2.0m centre to centre having 1.80m height with a spacer channel of 330mm long with all fittings and all parts (W beam section, channels, nuts & bolts, washers) to be galvanised by hot dip process. The work includes embedding the post to minimum 1100mm depth below ground in concrete of minimum M30 grade , all leads and lifts etc. complete as per drawing , specification and direction of Engineer-In-charge.The material brought shall be approved by BARC(V). The cost of work excludes concreting and boring which will be paid under relevant items all as per MORTH & IRC: 119. W-Beam Element: 4318mm overall length (4000mm effective), 311-312mm width, 83mm corrugation depth, 3mm thickness (2.5mm options exist) with a 550 g/sqm hot-dip galvanized coating designed to meet a minimum yield strength of 245 MPa.
