Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Diesel engine driven generating set 415volt, 3 phase, 4 wire as per BS 5514/IS-10002 complete with standard control panel, of capacity continuous rating 400 KVA/320 KW at NTP conditions with acoustic enclosure and canopy cover considering all derating factors and comprising of the following :- (a) ALTERNATOR : Self regulated with brushless self excitation 400KVA, 415volt, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hertz, 0.8 PF,1500 RPM, with voltage variation plus or minus 2.5% of rated voltage from no-load to full-load, foot mounted, screen protected, drip proof type with class 'F' insulation, closed coupled single bearing alternator, with necessary controls as recommended by the manufacturers, conforming to BS-5000/IS-4772, capable of supplying unbalanced load. (b) Engine : Multi/cylinder, compression ignition, heavy duty, compact diesel engine liquid cooled with standard accessories, all as per BS-5514/ISO-3046,1500 RPM, control gauges, RPM/Hours meters etc; shaft HP suitable for generating application and capable of giving an output of 400KVA/320KW for coupled alternator under NTP conditions, complete with following:- (i) Flywheel housing with flywheel to suit closed coupled single bearing alternator. (ii) Air-cleaner dry type with vacuum indicator.

(iii) Fuel pump and fuel piping 15mm MS pipe with bends, flanges etc. (iv) Fuel filter with water separator and filter element. (v) Lub-oil filter with filter element (vi) DC starter 24 volts. (vii) Storage Batteries of suitable voltage and ampere-hours as recommended by the manufacturers. (viii) Residential silencer as per CPCB norms (ix) Supporting/fixing arrangement for muffler with celiling through antivibration pads. (x) Engine overspeed stop/trip switch. (xi) Radiator with fan. (xii) Dynamo for battery charging. (xiii) Corrosion inhibitor coolant. (xiv) Engine control panel electronic digital display type consisting of battery voltage indicator, lub oil temp and pressure gauges coolant water temp gauge, RPM indicator cum hour meter etc. (xv) Safety controls for alarm due to high water temp (HWT) and low lub oil pressure (LLOP). (xvi) Any other devices/accessories recommended/supplied by the manufacturers as standard eqpt.

(c ) SKID : The engine and alternator will be coupled, aligned and mounted on a specially designed common base frame fabricated from MS channels of suitable cross sectional area and length with bottom drilled holes suitable for and including supplying and fixing anti vibration pads of required size and numbers as recommended by the manufacturers for mounting of 400KVA/320KW DG set. (d) AMF Panel : AMF panel shall be of suitable size factory made indoor cubical type front openable fabricated from CRCA steel sheet 1.6mm thick complete as per manufacturer specification of Diesel Engine suitable for DG Set of capacity 400KVA grouted in floor by providing PCC 1:2:4 type B-2 foundation of suitable size as per manufacturers recommendations complete in all respects and consisting of the following :- (i) Contactor ML of suitable capacity. (ii) Aluminium bus bar of capacity 1000 Amps (04 Nos) for phase and neutral. (iii) Sensitivity relay set unit with auxiliary relay CT's. (iv) Electronic latch circuit with tripping indication. (v) Instantneous tripping device suitable for complete panel over current 0.5 Amp. (vi) Reset facilities for complete protection of AMF Panel. (vii) Self squential starting relay unit 12 volts DC complete with alarm and power contactor. (viii)Electronic timer 220 Volts for main contactor with 1 No NC auxiliary contactor. (ix) Electronic timer 220 volts for fuel cut off operation for with 1 No NC auxiliary contactor.

(g) PCC/RCC foundation complete as per manufacturers own design or as per directions of Engineer-in- charge. The foundation shall be approved by GE before intallation of DG set. (h) Documents : Three sets of following documents :- Maintenance and operation manuals for engine and alternator, spare parts catalogue, warranty/test certificates, schematic diagrams of control panels. (j) other items : List of tools and two years normal maintenance spares as per manufacturers recommended lists, duly priced, item wise. Notes : (i) DG set shall be tested by the contractor in presence of GE & representative of Accepting Officer and the cost thereof deemed to be included in quoted rates.Testing equipment will be arranged by the contractor at his own cost. (ii) Fuel/oil required for load test shall be arranged by the contractor and cost thereof is deemed to be included in quoted rate. (iii) Make of AMF panel and complete DG set shall be Crompton Greaves or Cummins or Jaksons

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm X 60cm X 6mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed layer of Charcoal dust & common salt filled in alternate layers and electrode connected to GI earth lead strip 32 mm x 6 mm upto 7.5mtr long by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron and connection to earthing test point & earth dolly & watering pipe medium grade GI 20 mm bore including protection pipe GI light grade 40mm bore, including wire mesh, funnel, lugs, salt, charcoal dust, excavation in soft/losse soil, returning filling & removal of surplus soil upto 50mtr, pit chamber shall be of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates and pit cover slab 80mm thick shall be of Precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded mechnically crushed stone aggregates reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4Kg/sqm including necessary form work complete all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part-I, including testing on completion at site complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Any variation in length of earth lead and protection pipe of earth lead shall be adjusted through DO. (ii) On testing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, earthing will be generated at no extra cost , till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (iii) The chamber shall be constructed atleast 1.5 mtr away from the earth electrode.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning LT XLPE electric cable, 1100 Volts grade, heavy duty, PVC insulated and sheathed armoured electric power cable with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectional area 150 sqmm 3.5 core conforming to IS- 7098 (Part I) 1988 as in trenches or along the wall/pole through pipe etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning, protection pipes, end termination joints & protection covers shall be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth for foundation etc or for walls, shafts, manholes not exceeding 10 sqm on plan or for laying pipes/cables etc and getting out, in soft/loose soil complete all as specified & directed.

M&L Sand cushioning to cable with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cm deep after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cm depth after laying and stretching of cable ) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying old size, common burnt clay, sub class 'B' bricks, designation 75, laid flat & dry for protection of cable , adjacent to each other, perpendicular to central axis of cable complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

S&F cable jointing kit for 1100 volt earthed grade, indoor / outdoor, end termination heat shrinkable type joints with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3.5/4 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 150sqmm complete all as specified and directed.
