EARTH WORK
Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, for all lift, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within the campus premises.
All kinds of soil.

Ordinary rock
Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal of rubbish outside the periphery of the area cleared the campus premises or burning it, as directed by the engineer-in-charge.
Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material in the Engineering Unit store and disposal of unserviceable material.
Beyond 30 cm girth upto and including 60 cm girth
Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth
Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc.in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layers by ramming and watering lead upto 1Km and lift upto 1.5m etc. complete.including conveying the earth upto 1KM
CEMENT CONCRETE (CAST IN SITU)
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level :
1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form work for:
Foundations, footings, bases for columns
Providing and fixing precast cement concrete copings (having smooth finishing and painting-ready surface) on top of the compound wall including hoisting and setting in position with cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 coarse sand), cost of required Centering complete.
1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand(zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size derived from natural sources)
REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE
Providing and laying in position specified grade of reinforced cement concrete, excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement - All work up to plinth level :
1:1.5:3 (1 cement : 1.5 coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size de rived from natural sources)
Centering and shuttering including strutting, propping etc. and removal of form for
Foundations, footings, bases of columns, etc. for mass concrete.
Steel reinforcement for R.C.C. work ready to use "cut and bend" rebars of approved make from factory/workshop to construction site including placing in position and binding all complete upto plinth level.
Thermo-Mechanically Treated bars of grade Fe-500D or more.

MASONRY WORK

STONE WORK
Random rubble masonry with hard stone in foundation and plinth including levelling up with cement concrete 1:6:12 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand : 12 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) upto plinth level with :

FINISHING
12 mm cement plaster of mix :
1:4 (1 cement: 4 fine sand)
Pointing on stone work with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand):
Flush/ Ruled pointing
Finishing walls with Premium Acrylic Smooth exterior paint with Silicone additives of required shade:
New work (Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 Itr/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/10 sqm)
Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture of required colour to give an even shade :
Two or more coats on new work over an under coat of suitable shade with ordinary paint of approved brand and manufacture
Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content.
With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre
Dismantling and Demolishing
Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within the campus premises as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

ROAD WORK
Providing and fixing G.I. chain link fabric fencing of required width in mesh size 50x50 mm including strengthening with 2 mm dia wire or nuts, bolts and washers as required complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Made of G.I. wire of dia. 4 mm, PVC coated to achieve outer dia not less than 5 mm in required colour and shade
