The activities cover handling of rusted metallic items, structural scrap, insulation materials, oil sludge/oil slick, mud, debris, and other miscellaneous scrap lying at various locations such as the ground floor near Boiler area, pipe rack area, TG floor area, Cooling Tower area, and other surrounding premises. The work also includes bringing down waste materials from different floors of Boiler Units 1, 2, and 3 to ground level and consolidating them at a designated location. All manpower, tools, tackles, and equipment shall be provided by the contractor. | 1.03 | Transportation of scrap and waste materials loaded under Sl. The contractor shall provide a suitable truck having carrying capacity up to 2 tonnes for the purpose.
The rate per trip shall be inclusive of all charges such as vehicle hire, driver wages, fuel, and any other incidental expenses.
Copies of the relevant scrap dispatch advice and weighbridge report shall be submitted by the contractor for each lot of material transported.
