Preparation and consolidation of sub grade with power road roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity after excavating earth to an average of 22.5 cm depth, dressing to camber and consolidating with road roller including making good the undulations etc. and re-rolling the sub grade and disposal of surplus earth with lead upto 50 metres.
Cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size) in pavements, laid to required slope and camber in panels as required including consolidation finishing and tamping complete.
Construction of dry lean cement concrete sub base over a prepared subgrade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS:383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, aggregate cement ratio not to exceed 15:1, aggregate gradation after blending to be as per specifications, cement content not to be less than 150 Kg/cum, optimum moisture content to be determined during trial length construction, concrete strength not to be less than 10 Mpa at 7 days, mixed in a batching plant, transported to site, for all leads & lifts, laid with a mechanical paver, compacting with 8-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-incharge.
Supplying and filling in plinth with sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.
Providing and laying polysulphide sealant (pouring grade) of approved brand (conforming to BS : 5212) in expansion / construction / dummy joints including painting contact surface of the joints with approved polysulphide primer (in two coats) including providing expanded polyethylene armour rod of required size etc. complete as per drawing and directions of the Engineer-in-charge.
Cutting of joints with joints cutting machine in cement concrete pavement complete as per approved pattern & direction of Engineer-in-charge. (A) Dummy joints of size 6mm wide and 1/4 thickness of slab but not less than 100mm deep.
