Material & labour for preparation of old concrete/bitumen surfaces on rigid / flexible portion of Runway/Taxi track by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc,washing the surfaces, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dust & dirt etc over 10cm width or girth of any description and applying one coat of water based paint/ acrylic emulsion (Apex Ultima of Asian, Weather Coat All Guard of Berger, Weather Shieled Max of Dulux) on lines, dashes arrows, letters etc any tint paint complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for complete removal of existing treatment by brushing with the wire brushes , washing the surfaces , rubbing by gunny bags on concrete surfaces exc 10cm width or girth of any description and applying two coats of water based paint/acrylic emulsion (Apex Ultima of Asian, Weather Coat All Guard of Berger, Weather Shieled Max of Dulux) over a coat of primer on lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc at any tint paint complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description exceeding 10 cm in girth or width and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint of any tint to match with existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Make of Synthetic Enamel Paint :- Nerolac, Shalimar Paints, Asian Paints & Berger Paints.

Supply and loose fillling of fine sand not exceeding 50 cms thickness around over runway area, including leveling the surfaces to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repairs taxiway/runway sign board having 100% UV protected face plate on both sides not more than 1.0 sqm each consisting of non metallic materials support structure having min. tensile strength 4000 Kg/cm2 impact strength of 139 Kg/cm2, UV resistance must meet 1000 hr UV wreathing test for tensile strength as per ASTM G53 and very low flammability as per IS-6746, Appx. `N’ 1994, Temp. resistance (-)400C to (+)800C and able to withstand wind force of 150 Kg/hr, with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective sheeting as base and with cut out massage (legends borders letters numerals etc) with high intensity prismatic grade retro reflective,sign board frame shall fixed in frangible coupling embeded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 block of size 15cm x 15cm x 15cm complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Clearance and cutting of bushes, shrubs, grass, vegitation from side/berms of storm water drains , runway shoulders and adjoining area by means of mannual labour and removal of rubbish material to a distance as directed,clearance and cutting shall be carried out to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.
