Design and Construction of RCC Main over head storage tanks of 1,20,000 ltrs. capacity with 15 mtrs staging height and 35,000 ltrs. capacity with 10 mtrs staging height, including cost of excavation, site development cost of construction material , necessary arrangement of inlet,outlet, over flow & scour pipe alongwith sluice valves , & other fixtures & fitting, and carriage of meterial within all leads and lifts. ( The design and Drawing shall be got approved from competent authority before execution )

Inlet pipe shall be provided by the department, however the Contractor / Firm shall have to make arrangements for connection the same with the tank with in all leads and lifts.

Providing and fixing of atleast 1 number manhole with CI cover 500 milimeter internal dia meter total weight of cover and frame to be not less than 110 Kg. ( medium duty ) the weight of cover and frame to be 56 Kg. each.

Cast iron ventilating pipe 150 milimeter dia with cowl and mosquito proof cover of sufficient length and lightening conductor as per site shall be provided by the contractor/ firm.

RCC sprial stairs of 75 centimeter wide including railing of G.I pipe 40 milimeter dia ( midium class) supported on mild steel angle iron 40x40x5 ,o;o,eter pf jeogjt 90 centimeter from the ground level of the reservior to the top of the bottom ring beam and steel stairs from top of bottom ring beams to manehole to base of resvior.

All inspection gallery of minimum width 75 centimeter shall be provided around the tank at the bottom ring beam level along with railing of G.I. pipe of suitable dia supported on mild steel angle iron of 40x40x5 milimeter and also at ground level of the tank G.I. railing including mlld steel gate of suitable size . The pipe will be supplied by the department free of cost.

All other required accessories such as bell mouth control valves of cast iron class PN-1 one for each out let and occur system shall be supplied and fixed by the firm.

All the fitting shall be embeded in the structure while the work is in progress. All connections shall be left out side the structure with sluice valves of appropriate class and specification in position ready for connection with incomming and outgoing pipes . direction of the scour shall be made towards natural drainage as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

The safe bearing capacity of the soil shall be got tested by the contractor, however for design purpose. The safe bearing capacity shall not be more than 10 tonne per square meter. The design and drawing for the structure shall be supplied by the contractor/firm and shall be got approved by the competent authority before execution of the work.

The work shall be executed as per techinical specification attached in the NIT and direction of Engineer-in-charge . All the surrounding shall be levelled and make good and brought in proper shape as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

All the pipe fitting , valves and other specials shall be ISI marked and confirm to relevant BIS codes and also shall be subject to the approval of Engineer-in-charge.
