Contract for Sweeping of Roads and cleaning of Drains in HWPK Housing Colony during year 2024-25 for one and half year.

Providing all tools, tackles, consumable and non consumable materials, manpower, machinery etc., for sweeping & cleaning of roads and berms including all open spaces at all Road corners/Junctions, widened paved portions etc. upto wall/fencing of the houses, berms/drain edges and the spaces between road berms & walls of the houses/Blocks, keeping area neat & clean including cutting of all type of grass, gazer grass & cleaning all type of rubbish (including rubbish dumped by Residents in colony, removing unwanted growth by spade as per site requirement, Removing and disposing all such garbage to the disposal yard etc. lifting of stones of all sizes, waste woods etc. from the areas, transporting these garbage’s/stones to the dumping area /designated places in the colony by mechanical Transport , as directed by the Engineer etc. complete including cost of all manpower, consumables, tools and tackles, transport and any other incidental expenses etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge. Note: 1. Sweeping & Cleaning shall be done to maintaing the Roads, patrolling pathways, Berms, Shoulders, drains, block back side etc in neat and tidy condition as per frequency mentioned in the item, faling which penal recovery at the rate of Rs.0.2/sqm of unattended/unsatisfactory area will be made for each instance apart from no payment for no work/unsatisfactory work. 2.Collection of garbage from Dustbin kept on the road sides inside the colony premises are to be done on daily basis along with sweeping of roads and nothing extra will be payable on this account, faling which penal recovery at the rate of Rs.50 of unattended dustbin will be made for each instance for no work

Roads & Raised Berms (paved areas) (except sunday and scheuled holidays) - Daily

Sweeping of shoulders and cleaning of Blocks front area, wall/fencing of the houses up to boundary wherever exists, Tennis & Basket ball Court, Vollyball Ground all by colleting garbage waste papers, removal of creepers, clearing of wild growth by using spade upto the depth of 50 mm wherever exists to maintain clean surroundings etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer ( Twice in a week)

Sweeping and cleaning of patrolling pathway including berms in both sides (total 4.5 mtr width) complete along the compound wall all by colleting garbage waste papers, removal of creepers, clearing of wild growth by using spade upto the depth of 50 mm, trimming of protruding tree branches etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer (Once in a week)

Cleaning of Drains (Once in a fortnight)

Sweeping and cleaning of blocks backside up to 2.0m including cleaning of plinth protection and colleting all garbage waste papers, removal of creepers, clearing of wild growth by using spade upto the depth of 50 mm surrounding the building etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer. (Once in a month)

Providing all tools, tackles,consumable, manpower, machinery etc., for sweeping & cleaning of all the cattle traps in the colony once in a fortnight. Removing all garbage’s stones, woods from cattle traps, transporting by mechanical means to the dumping area /designated places in the colony as directed by the engineer etc. complete including cost of all manpower, consumables, tools and tackles and any other incidental expenses etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge. Note: Cleaning shall be done to maintaing the cattle traps in neat and tidy condition as per frequency mentioned in the item, faling which penal recovery at the rate of Rs.200/each cattle trap of unattended/unsatisfactory work will be made for each instance from the bills apart from no payment for no work/unsatisfactory work.

Providing all tools, tackles, consumable and non consumable materials, manpower, machinery etc., for sweeping of approach paths of houses, stair cases and other places up to 15 meter height & from all premises of HWPK colony including cycle stands/public parking areas daily, sweeping of staircase daily, washing of path ways and washing & mopping of stair case and landings once in a week, including removing cobwebs in multi storied blocks once in week, Transporting & disposing of the same at the dumping area/ designated places in the colony by mechanical Transport as directed by the Engineer etc. complete including cost of all manpower, consumables, tools and tackles, transport and any other incidental expenses etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge . Note: (i) All the approach paths of houses, stair cases, cycle stands/public parking areas etc shall be mainatined neat and clean through out the period of contract as per schedule failing which suitable penal recovery @ Rs 0.20/sqm per instance will be made for unsatisfactory works.

Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower etc., for attending de-choking by Rodding, digging , cutting roots & filling the excavated earth back and making the sewer line functional ensuring free flow of sewage in all conditions including excavation upto required depth wherever necessary as per the site requirement , disposal of waste as directed by EIC ; removal of dead animals and disposing of the same to the dumping area/ designated places in the colony by mechanical Transport as directed by the Engineer etc. complete including cost of all manpower, consumables, tools and tackles, transport and any other incidental expenses etc complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: (1) Repeated Complaint from the same location/house within three days, the contractor shall attend the complaint free of cost and the same will not be paid separately. (2) Contractor shall deploy separate manpower as required for this job on daily bais. If no persons are deployed for this job on any day, a penal recovery of Rs. 450/- per day will be recovered from bills apart from no payment for no work.

Dechoking of Kitchen Sink,Wash basin with or without Trap, Nahani trap,Water Closet, Gully traps, rain water inlets etc.

Dechoking of Manhole chambers including connecting sewer line cleaning till the free flow is established.

Removing dead animals viz cows, dogs, birds, monkeys ,buffalos, ass, pigs, cats etc., from different parts of colony , disposing the same to the dumping yard as direcetd by the Engineer, including providing and spreading bleaching powder in the spot from where the dead animal is lifted etc. complete and as directed by the Engineer. Note : Bleaching powder shall be supplied by the department

Accomplishing the task of engineering assistance services regularly on all working days for ensuring execution and monitoring of works, supervise the job, receiving day to day instructions from the department officials, deployment/redeployment of manpower as needed and obtaining the signatures of occupants, Departments representative and Engineer In Charge as per the specifications and scheduled work plan including recording of measurements for billing and maintaining other records pertaining to the contract by deputing a Semi-skilled person all as per the direction of Engineer. (Minmum qualificatioin - 12 th pass). Note: 1. Daily Assistance by one skilled person is considerered as one task. 2. The contractor shall depute a seperate person for the above item. The contractor himself cannot supervise the job. In case the supervisor deployed is absent or not reporting to the Engineer for receiving day to day instructions, contractor shall arrange alternate supervisor immedeately, failing which a penal recovery of Rs 700/- per day will be made in the Bills apart from non payment of task for that day.

Providing all tools, tackles, consumable and non consumable materials, manpower, machinery for transporting and dumping all waste, debris, rubbish, woods, big boulders etc. including collecting the same from residential/public buildings, Road berms and other places in the colony by mechanical transport (Tractor & Trolley with side covered of minimum 1.5 meter) disposing the same to the dumping area/ designated places in the colony as directed by the Engineer, including all costs of manpower, loading, unloading, transport, driver, diesel and other consumables and any other incidental expenses etc. complete as per specifications and as as directed by the Engineer-In- Charge Note : This item will be used for specific purpose and not meant for general garbage from colony covered under other items.

Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, machinery, necessary arrangements etc. for removal of fallen trees including transporting to the dumping ground/designated place within the colony upto a lead of 2 KM, depositing bigger size branches in colony office premises or as directed by the Engineer by deploying required man power, power tools & tackles, skilled operators and by observing /meeting all the safety requirements/ norms etc. and including refilling the pit with the available earth , dressing etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Note: 1. Contractor shall make all necessary arrangement to cut the fallen tree in to pieces of suitable size for the ease of handling and dispose it as directed by the Engineer. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account. 2. This item only covers trees which have fallen on the ground on their own and does not cover fallen trees under item no. 8.

Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, machinery, necessary arrangements etc. for Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material including transporting to the dumping ground/designated place within the colony upto a lead of 2 KM as directed by the Engineer by deploying power tools & tackles, operators meeting all the safety requirements etc. and including refilling the pit with the available earth etc. complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer. Note: 1.Contractor shall make all necessary arrangement to cut the fallen tree in to pieces of suitable size for the ease of handling and dispose it as directed by the Engineer. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Beyond 30 cm girth upto and including 60 cm girth

Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth

Beyond 120 cm girth upto and including 240 cm girth

Providing all tools, tackles, materials, manpower, equipments, machinery etc., for spraying herbicide Glyphosate or equivalant (mixing 100 ml chemical of herbicide with 10 litre water and sprayed over an area of 1000 sqm or as per manufacturers specifications along with any admixures suggested by the manufacturers) in open areas/ Berms, Block surrounding/Front etc. Complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : Basis of measurement will be per liter of undiluted chemical.
