ROAD, PATH, CULVERTS AND HARDSTANDING WORKS M & L for precast (factory casted) cement Concrete kerb stone casted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with plain or interlocking joints (as directed), making groove in existing road of desired dimension, placing in erect position Kerb stone in edging and set and jointed in cement mortar 1:4, making good distrubed surface of ground complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for laying and compacting 150mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base (GSB) grading as per Grading II of Table 400-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 in a single layer over compacted sub grade consisting of natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag, or combination thereof as per the grading required. The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the sub grade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of at least 98 % of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, Laying, compaction of Wet Mix Macadam conforming to Clause 406 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) , 250 mm thick (compacted thickness,125 mm thick in two separate layers) with mechanically crushed graded stone aggregates and granular material (size range 53 mm to 0.075 mm ), grading of aggregates as per Table 400-13 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision) ,including premixing the material with water at OMC in for all leads & lifts, laying in uniform layers with mechanical paverfinisher in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density , required gradient and camber etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES: 1. The WMM shall be laid in two layers i.e each layer of 125 mm thick (compacted thickness). 2. For payment purpose,both layers shall be considered as one unit.

Preparation of un-surfaced Wet Mix macadam (WMM) surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud ,dust, loose material, foreign material etc., sweeping with power brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with air compressors to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming coat on un-surfaced wet mix macadam surfaces conforming to Clause 502 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion SS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 7.5 kg per 10 sq metres using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing, laying & compaction of Bituminous Macadam (BM) conforming to Clause 504 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), using mechanically crushed stone aggregates and granual material etc. of grading II as per Table 500-7 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), premixed with bituminous binder, Bitumen grade VG-30 @ 3.50% (percentage by weight of total mix) prepared in Batch Type Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity transported to site by tippers, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers as per specifications to achieve the desired compaction and density complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against Item considering 3.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job mix formula as per MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) for bituminous concrete shall be got designed from NIT/ CTL/ Govt Engg College and shall be got approved from GE in writing well before commencement of work without any financial effect to the department. Also the bitumen content shall not be less 3.4% by weight of total mix as per clause 504.2.4 of MoRT&H specifications (Fifth Revision). (ii) If qty of binder contents is less than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ, it shall be adjusted at supply only rates of paving bitumen @ Rs 45.00 Per Kg and if qty of binder contents is more than the qty as specified in respective items of BOQ no adjustment shall be made.

Preparation of bituminous black top surfaces and applying evenly a Tack coat conforming to Clause 503 of MORT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works (Fifth Revision), with cationic bituminous emulsion RS1 grade,confirming to IS 8887(latest edition) @ 2.5 kg per 10 sq metres using using primer distributor which shall be self-propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 30 mm thick (consolidated thickness) Bituminous Concrete (BC) layer conforming to clause 507 of MoRT&H specifications for road and bridge work (Fifth Revision) including cost of coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, filler, 5.5% binder (paving Bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives (quantity, quality and grade as per the approved Job Mix Formula) etc, cleaning and pre-heating of the mineral aggregate, filler & bitumen to the specific temperature, thoroughly mixing with binder of specified bitumen content, Anti Stripping Agent, Warm Mix Additives as per mix design in Hot Mix Plant of 100-120 TPH capacity, carrying the hot mixed materials by means of tipper, trucks, or any other approved and suitable arrangements, laying the hot premixed materials over the prepared surface by means of paver finisher including manual operation as and when required for proper grade, level and camber thorough rolling with power roller 8 to 12 tonnes smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller with necessary hand packing and pinning to give an even surface, including running expense of all plants and machineries, inclusive of proper traffic control during laying to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge, required quality control tests at required interval etc complete in all respects complete all as specified and directed.

Painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road pavement and the like exceeding 10 cm wide with Thermo Plastic Paint including glass beads complete all as specified and directed.

ABS Body Road studs (Cat eye) two way reflective of size 100 x 100 x 19mm with with reflective panels Amber/Red/White as directed fitted with epoxy resin and 12mm dia size 125mm long pointed nails complete all as specified and directed.

S & f Solar Light Road studs LED based of size ( 108 x 108 x 25 mm) with Aluminium alloy body and Solar powered by nano crystal solar panel with one high capacity NI- CD Recahrgeable battery and three LED on each side (total six LEDs) fixed with epoxy resin and 12mm dia size 125mm long pointed nails complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Bringing approved earth from outside MD land including cost of earth & carriage complete all as specified and directed.

Forming embankment from soil including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 Cm thick, watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc, not exceeding 1.5 metre high from base under optimum moisture conditions to specified proctor density not less than 95 percent complete all as specified and as directed.

Forming embankment from soil including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 Cm thick, watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc, exceeding 1.5 metre but not exceeding 3.0 metre high from base under optimum moisture conditions to specified proctor density not less than 95 percent complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item Nos & : For payment purpose quantity after deduction of 5% for bulkage from measured volume of filling shall be allowed.

M & L for 60mm thick PVC moulded precast interlocking paving blocks factory casted using grey cement and pigment, casted in an automatic plant working on vibration and simultaneous hydraulic compression from top, confirming to IS-15658-2006 and of shape haxagon/ triangular/ zigzag/ I-shaped etc. as directed having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg/ Sqcm laid over and including 25 to 30mm thick layer of sand cushioning including filling the interstices with & including sand and interstices on edges filled with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as directed.

M & L for cutting existing road upto 30 Cm depth and in required width for laying sewage line/ water pipe line/cable and making good disturbed surfaces with plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 complete all as specified and as directed.

Centrifugally cast ductile iron pressure pipe 100 mm bore, with socket & spigot ends ISI marked with IS 8329/2000 classification K7, In standard length of 5.5 - 6 mtr suitable for and including push on joint (gasket D jointing) with cement mortar lining in the pipes, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:-Ductile iron fittings will be measured and paid for separately.

Ductile iron fittings such as bends (any type, radius and angle) Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, tail pieces with one end flanged (integrally cast) and one end socket/spigot caps and plugs suitable upto 150 mm bore ductile iron pressure pipes of K-7 classification including nuts, bolts, washer and push on flexible rubber gasket joints, complete all as specified and directed.

Construction of brick masonary valve pit of size 900 mm x 900mm x 900 mm (Internal size) thickness of walls shall be 23cm in brick work in cement mortar 1:6 internally plastered in cement mortar (1:6) and externally plastered in cement mortar (1:4) over 15cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 having 15cm offset around, including 4 cm thick coping in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 on the top of the brick wall and 3mm thick mild steel sheet cover and angle iron frame of size 40 mm x 40mm x 6mm including provn of suitable hold fasts to hold the frame, locking arrangement and lifting handle, duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint, over a coat of red oxide primer, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, installation, testing & commissioning of 200Lpd Solar water heating system indirect type (with SS 304 Heat Exchange) consisting of 2no. Solar flat plate collector ISI Marked with Copper absorber & 50mm insulation of rockwool at back and 25mm on sides with 100mm Aluminium box with 1 no. toughned glass 3.2mm with 92% transmittance and Solar hot Water Storage Tank 200Litres.SS304 (1mm thick) covered with 50mm PUF insulation and cladded with colour coated GI 0.4mm with 1x2kw electrical back up with suitable 3 core cable as required and thermostat with 1no. temperature gauge, 1No. Makeup Tank SS 304 with float valve and necessary hose pipe between collector & Hot water Tank System fixed over on Ms angle iron 40x40x50mm including nuts bolts, grouted in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 blocks (30cmx30cmx30cm) and two coats of painting over coat of red oxide, brass gate valve in hot & cold water pipes complete all as specified & as directed. Note (i) Cost of PVC tank, Cold & Hot water pipe with their fitting & water taps shall be measured and paid for separately (ii) MS Angle structure shall be prepared as per manufacturer’s instruction.
