OD233663/2022-2023:Charges for operation of 500 KVA DG set and 750 KVA transformer Unitized substation installed in the MLA Hostel which shall include continuous trial run of the DG set for at least 10 minutes every day and operating the DG set during the period of power failure, check the water level , clean the battery terminal applying petroleum jelly as and where required check the level of distilled water in the battery, clean the control panel board and check the condition of MCCB, ACB, VCB, SDF fuse links etc. Check the condition of Transformer, DG set, panel boards etc: Rectify minor complaints in all MLA Hostel building as when required, report major complaints to the department on time and maintain substation in perfect working condition by engaging at least one Diploma Holder in Electrical Engineering from 9 am to 5 pm every day and one Electrician in three shifts. All the the duty shall be engaged round the clock of operation of the system. The Attendance Register of all the duty staff shall be maintained and be made available at all times in the Sub-Station for verification by the Assistant Engineer/Assistant Executive Engineer and to be authenticated monthly wise by the officer in charge of MLA hostel and get an attested copy of the same to the Assistant Engineer in charge. The certificates and attested copy of ID proof of all staffs are to be produced before the Agreement authority for the safe custody during the Agreement period. In case of Diploma holder the certificate to be recognized by Board of Technical Examination, Govt. of Kerala or Equivalent and in case of ITI holder NCVT certificate.
