Replacement of tiles surrounding the swimming pool and pharmacy store room at sports complex and health centre of IIT Mandi at North Campus

Civil items: Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor in different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid on 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand) jointing with grey cement slurry @3.3 kg/sqm including grouting the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc. The tiles must be cut with the zero chipping diamond cutter only . Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily. a) Glazed Vitrified tiles Matt/Anti Skid finish of size i) Size of Tile 600 x 600 mm as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in different sizes (thickness to be specified by manufacturer) with water absorption less than 0.08 % and conforming to I.S. 15622, of approved make in all colours & shade in skirting, riser of steps, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including grouting the joint with white cement & matching pigments etc. complete. a) Size of Tile 600x600 mm as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Wall painting with acrylic emulsion paint, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coats wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour. a) One coat as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Demolishing cement concrete manually/ by mechanical means including disposal of material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. a) Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix (i/c equivalent design mix) as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. a) For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Providing and fixing aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections/appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge. (Glazing, paneling and dash fasteners to be paid for separately) : a) For fixed portion i) Powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Providing and fixing Grade 316 Stainless Steel safety rope hooks of required shape and size (minimum 12mm diameter rod), specifically designed for chlorinated environments, in the walls of an existing swimming pool as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Making opening in existing brick wall or RCC wall of size 450 x 450 mm for installation of exhaust fan by cutting/dismantling with manual or mechanical means, including necessary underpinning and providing support to the structure as required as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic anti skid matt finish floor tiles of size 300x300 mm for swimming pool surrounding , over 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), jointed with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg/sqm, including pointing with white cement mixed with pigment etc. complete as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.

Providing and fixing of solid acrylic sheet minimum thickness of 4mm transparent sheet with M.S.frame/aluminium frame, with fasteners, gaskets, sealants and necessary structural supports as required as per approved drawings and specifications. the work shall be done as per drawings and specifications approved by Engineer-in-charge.(M.S. framework/aluminum shall be paid separately) as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge including carriage of material in all leads and lifts.
