Hire charges for erection and removal of Flat roof pendals or Sloped roof pendals as found necessary with Casurina or Eucalyptus posts girth of 250 mm to 300 mm measured at one metre above ground level after erection of posts, the roof covered with Bamboos double bamboo mats or coconut leaves with thick covering with necessary frame work, coir rope etc., including providing watch and ward and storing water in tubs etc., complete as directed during execution. The posts should be vertical and not curved, should be uniform size without much knots and should be strong (The rate for pendals will be paid as per area of pendals measured on covering plan area). The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing, removal, etc., complete. The rate is for below mentioned calendar days. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges for providing White ceiling cloth for decorating the pendals and Mandapam with necessary frame work with decorative frills (jallars) around and border and decorative frills (jallars) at the centre with red or green colour or any other attractive colour wherever necessary etc., complete as directed during execution. The ceiling cloth should be pure white in colour and without any patches and preferably new or neatly washed and should be in good condition through out the Festival or Ustavam period and should be removed after the same is over and should be repaired or replaced as and when torn out by any means including due to rain without any extra cost.

The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete. The rate is for below mentioned calendar days. (The rate for pendals will be paid as per area of pendals measured on covering plan area) Note: If, there is any deviation in the usage of good quality of cloth effecting the pleasing appearance and if the contractor fails to rectify it as per the directions of Engineer in charge, suitable penalty shall be imposed by the Engineer in charge. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges for providing bunting cloth of white or red or green colour to the Casurina or Eucalyptus posts etc., complete to the full height and cloth used preferably new or neatly washed and should be in good condition throughout the Festival or Utsavam period and should be removed after the same is over as directed during execution and should be repaired without any extra rate if the cloth is spoiled due to any means. The Contractor should allow the Electric and flowers decoration over the cloth done Departmentally without any claim. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials (Transportation charges) and labour charges for fixing etc., complete. The rate is for below mentioned calendar days. (The rate for pendals will be paid as per area of pendals measured on covering plan area). Hire charges for one (1) day, for erection and removal of flat/ sloped roof MS Pipes pendals using 40 mm MS pipes for verticals, horizontals and roof supports etc., fixing with, special type gripper MS clamps (Nandu clamps), extra horizontal bracings should be provided from at 2.40 m to roof level and jointing with special type gripper MS clamps (Nandu clamps) for horizontal bracings and column roofing including earth work excavation in all soils (Except rock requiring blasting) to a depth of 0.40 m to 0.60 m. The vertical posts are to be fixed strongly without any shaking. The roof shall be covered with G.I sheet/ Aluminium sheet/ Galvalume sheet and firmly fixed to the purlins etc., complete as directed during execution. The rate including conveyance and hire charges of all materials such as MS pipes, Clamps, GI sheet/ Aluminium sheet/ Galvalume sheet etc. and labour charges for fixing and removal etc., complete. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges for erection and removal of Shamiyanas with required posts, rope etc., including anchoring the ropes to the ground with suitable anchoring and incidental charges etc., complete as directed during execution. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete. The rate is for below mentioned calendar days. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable to this item also.

The rate is including transportation, maintenance, watch and ward, against theft and fire accidents, repairs and replacement etc., complete. Hire charges (each per day) for providing of banquet chairs for VIPs including loading, unloading, transportation etc., complete. The rate is including maintenance, watch and ward, against theft and fire accidents, repairs and replacement etc., complete during the said period. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges for one (1) day, for erection and removal of temporary Dias at a height of 60 cms to 120 cms (2'-0" to 4'-0") from the floor/ Ground level using MS pipe vertical supports with adjustable jockey and four sides supporting MS Pipe bracing and top covering 19 mm ply wood laid on MS Pipes frame work and should be made without undulation. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges (each per day) for providing Plastic/ Aluminium/ Stainless steel water drums of storing capacity not less than 200 Ltrs including loading and unloading. The rate is including transportation, maintenance, watch and ward, against theft and fire accidents, repairs and replacement etc., complete.

Hire charges (each per day) for supply of steel dining tables of size 1’-6” x 6’-0”, including loading and unloading. The rate is including transportation,, maintenance, watch and ward, against theft and fire accidents, transportation, repairs and replacement etc., complete. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges (each per day) for providing Three Seater VIP Sofas as decided by the department, including conveyance, loading and unloading etc. complete. The rate is including maintenance, watch and ward, against theft and fire accidents, repairs and replacement etc., complete during the said period. Rate is including all taxes, Transportation etc.,complete.*The relevant conditions of the foot note mentioned at the end of these items/chapter applies.

Hire charges for supply and erection of digital design flex banner with required material like threads and sticks etc., to erect specified place as directed by the department. The cost is including material, labour for printing, erection and removal after completion of the function etc complete as directed during execution.

Hire charges for supply, erection and removal of digital design flex boards with frame work made with of 25 mm x 25 mm MS Square pipe (light weight) with required back support to erect boards at specified places as directed by the department. The cost inclusive of materials, labour for printing, erection and removal square pipe (light weight) after completion of the function.

Hire charges for one (1) day, for providing Rain proof shelters of different spans with clear height of 14' at the ends and suitable height at centre with central unsupported span of ranging 30' to 60'. The shelter shall be provided with adequate MS girders, trusses, purlins, bracings, tie rods, anchorages, bolts & nuts etc., suitably designed with necessary anchors to the ground to withstand heavy wind and rain. The shelter shall be firmly tied with cross anchors at all required places using MS strands etc., using necessary bolts, nuts, etc. The entire roof shall be covered suitably with GI sheets/ Aluminium sheets/ Galvalume sheets firmly fixed to the purlins etc., with necessary bolts/ screws, washers etc., so as to have perfect rain proof roof.

Covering shall be made such that the shelter shall be totally rain proof during heavy rains and the rain water shall be properly drained off. (This rate is applicable when structure is provided using roof trusses) Necessary rain water collection facility and drainage arrangement shall be made. Hire charges for erection and removal of barricading with MS Frames made with MS Hallow square tubes. The barrication provided such that it shall be 1.20 m height above the ground level and fixed to the ground (Earth/ CC road/ BT Road) with base anchors made with MS Angle/ channels true to alignment. The barrication shall be strongly fixed without any shaking including providing inclined struts wherever necessary including labour charges for all the operations such as loading, unloading, erection, removal etc., including conveyance charges to site (both ways) and removing the same after completion of the festival and taking away the material etc., complete as directed during the execution. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges for one (1) day, for erection and removal of MS Pipes pendals with MS Pipes 40 mm dia for veridical, horizontals bracings and roofing. The pendals are firmly fixed with bracings and with necessary frame work/ rope etc., and the roof covered with thick white ceiling cloth along with all round frills (jallars) including anchoring to the ropes to the ground with suitable anchoring and necessary watch and ward against theft and fire accidents and incidental charges etc. complete as directed during execution. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials (Transportation charges) and labour charges for fixing etc., complete. (The rate for pendals will be paid as per area of pendals measured on covering plan area). Hire charges for one (1) day, for erection and removal of side curtains with white/ colour design cloth and required frame work including using necessary bolts, nuts, etc., complete. The rate is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing and removal etc., complete. The side curtains should be neat and with good appearance in all days, if spoiled in any manner and the same should be replaced immediately. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges for one (1) day, for providing Pagodas of 15 ft X 15 ft size with clear height of 10' at the ends and 14' height at centre. The pagodas shall be provided with adequate MS trusses, purlins, bracings, tie rods, anchorages, bolts & nuts etc., suitably designed with necessary anchors to the ground to withstand heavy wind and rain. The entire roof shall be covered suitably with Fabric firmly fixed to the purlins etc., The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete. All the relevant conditions pertaining to pendals are applicable for this item also.

Hire charges for one (1) day, for erection and removal of barricading with MS Pipes at required places with MS Pipes of 40 mm diameter using 2.45 m long verticals and 3 to 6 metres horizontals. The barricading provided such that it shall be 2 m above ground level and 0.45 m pipe embedded in the ground with necessary earth work excavation in all soils up to 0.45 m to 0.60 m depth (except rock requiring chiselling). The Horizontals shall be in 3 rows one at 0.50 metres from bottom and balance two rows at 0.70 metres intervals leaving top gap of 0.10 m to 0.15 m and using vertical pipes at a spacing of 2.40 mts to 2.70 mts using special type gripper clamps ("Nandu" clamps) for keeping the both horizontal and vertical intact and joining pins for horizontals.

The barrication shall be strongly fixed without any shaking including providing inclined struts wherever necessary including labour charges for all the operations such as loading unloading erection, removal etc., including conveyance charges to site (both ways ) and removing the same after completion of the festival and taking away the material etc., duly refilling the pits and levelling the surface etc., complete as directed during the execution. All the clamps shall be covered with rubber sheet for safety, so as to avoid exposure of sharp edges. The rate quoted is including conveyance of all materials and labour charges for fixing etc., complete.
