NOTE -1 :- SITE FOR EXECUTION OF WORK :- Tendered shall note that work shall be executed at Runway/taxi track/Tarmac & similar location. Site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when Runway/Taxi Track or other location will made available by GE/Engineer-in-Charge after consultation with users, due to contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordingly. No claim whatsoever, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates.

NOTE -2 :- Work will be executed in different location for repair of small portions/patches in and around airfiled. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates.

M&L for laying of 40 mm thick bitumen mastic wearing course (as per specifications) with industrial bitumen of grade 85/25 conforming to IS : 702, prepared by using mastic cooker and laid to required level and slope, including providing antiskid surface with bitumen precoated fine grained hard stone chipping of approved size at the rate of 0.005 cum per 10 sqm and at approximate spacing of 10 cm centre to centre in both directions pressed into surface protruding 1 mm to 4 mm over mastic surface, (Considering bitumen using 10.2% of total weight) including......

.....preparation of surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Excavating over areas, n exc 1.5m deep & getting out in any type of soil all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Moorum/red bajri filling in floors & pavings, laid in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed, watering , all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 300mm thick Moorum/Red bajri, spread, rolled & consolidated to gradient & camber required all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Hardcore of Broken stone/boulders gauge n exc. 63mm, deposited, spread & levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered & rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for 100 mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D2, using 40 mm graded stone aggregate, as in sub base to floors and paving etc all complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block of approved shape and size of 80 mm thickness, with minimum compressive strength of 40 N / Sqmm (M-40 grade), without correction factor for chamfering, made in rubber moulds with 0.50 mm thick scratch proof lacquer coating on top surface, with white cement and pigment laid over and including 25 mm thick (compacted thickness) sand screed bed complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Filleting in any position and any shape in cement morter 1:4 including all mitres, stops, etc. Exc. 25 sqcm but n.exc 50 sqcm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & Labour for road side kerb with factory made Precast cement concrete block of mix 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, not exc 100 mm in thickness & set in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Demolition of cement concrete of any description & in any position not otherwise specifically provided for (unreinforced) complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Removing building material to a distance exc 500m but n. exec 1000 m and including loading, unloading and stacking at the destination all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for 150 mm thick DLC using minimum Cement 200 Kg/Cum, and 7 days Compressive Strength 15 Kg/Sqm using crushed stone graded aggregates as in mass concrete including necessary steel form work all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for providing 20mm thick dry river sand as in cushioning including punning down of sand in layer all as specified and directed by Engg-in-Charge.

Supply and laying polythene film, , 400 micron laid in floors/ Pavement all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Cement concrete work in pavements/hard standing of flexural strength 45 Kg/Sqcm in field using 400 Kg of cement/Cum, thickness of concrete 25 cm thick or above including steel shuttering to concrete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Finishing surface of concrete roads pavement by floater, plate vibrator when the concrete is green all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Forming 20mm thick expansion joint for 300 mm thickness of concrete slab filled with preformed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Forming construction joints 32mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Forming contraction(Dummy) joints 65mm deep x 10mm wide filled with sealing compound Grade 'B' complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for raking out existing old sealing compound (Manually or Mechanically as per the direction of Engr-In-Charge) from expansion joint of size 35 to 40 mm wide and 40 mm deep preparing joint by cleaning, priming the joints and filling the joints with sealing compound grade 'B' (Jet fuel resistant) bearing ISI marked (IS - 18340 - 1980) all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for making good to pot holes/ Cracks in existing cement concrete pavements by cutting out portion around the pot holes with mechanical equipment into regular shape of any size 25 to 40mm deep, removing the loose material to a distance exc 50m but n.exc 100m and cleaning the cut out portion with compressed air to remove all foreign materials like dust, dirt, aggregates etc, priming the proposed pot holes and filing with Tarplast all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
