Erection, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of APFC Panels at Substations of TP Unit

Erection, testing & commissioning of APFC panel at substation 3 as per the scope of work. Installation including transportation of APFC panel from C-Stores (Approx.: 250 mtrs), leading, mounting, levelling and assembly of APFC panel of dimension 2800 (L) X 800 (W) X 2000 (H) mm in substation 3, consisting of incomers ACB and outgoing MCCBs as per the GA details attached, including minor civil work as per the scope of work. Existing cables shall be terminated in the newly installed panels using the existing cable glands. However cables sockets (for 10 x 3.5 x 300 Sq.mm cable shall be supplied by the contractor) Panel shall be double earthed as per standards from the nearest earth grid. The APFC panel , required GI strips for earthling etc. shall be supplied by KMML. Necessary transportation facilities and material handling for positioning of APFC panel shall be arranged by the contractor.

Dismantling the existing capacitor panels in PCC 1 & 3 of dimension 1070 x 950 x2230 mm and 3060 x 950 x 2250 mm respectively, which includes disconnection of existing AYFY power cables of 3.5x300sq. mm (14 nos) / 5/9 x 2.5 sq.mm YWY control cables(4 nos.). The cables after disconnection shall be properly tagged and the existing glands to be reused. The dismantled panels shall be transported to the respective substations after required civil works which shall include wall/door dismantling and creating openings in walls to facilitate smooth movement of panel as per scope of work. The transporting of dismantled panel to the substations shall be done with extreme care to prevent any damage to the capacitors/reactors mounted in panels. The movement of panels inside MCC room shall be such that it should not damage the dielectric flooring. Any damage to dielectric flooring shall be repaired at the cost and risk of the contractor. The cement and brick required for reinstating the wall shall be issued to contractor as free issue item from KMML..

Erection, testing and commissioning of dismantled APFC panels to the substations 1 and 5. Installation including leading, mounting, levelling and assembly of dismantled (as per 1.02) APFC panel in substation 1 & 5 including minor civil work as per the scope of work. The panels shall be erected on structural foundations, which is at 600 mm above the Finished Ground Level. Existing cables shall be terminated in the installed panels using the existing cable glands. However cables sockets (for 6 x 3.5 x 300 Sq.mm , 2 x 3.5 x 400 Sq.mm cable shall be supplied by the contractor) Panel shall be double earthed as per standards from the nearest earth grid. The APFC panel , required GI strips for earthling etc. shall be supplied by KMML. Necessary transportation facilities and material handling for positioning of APFC panel shall be arranged by the contractor.

Laying, dressing and clamping of following cables through existing trays / structures / racks / columns etc. .Cable shall be supplied by KMML. All other materials required are under the scope of contractor. 3.5 x 300 sq.mm AYFY/XLPE power cable

Glanding and termination at panel side of AYFY cable using DC glands/ lugs including supply of cable glands, lugs, aluminium crimping sockets, nuts bolts etc. required for this work. Gland earthling as per standards shall be done by the contractor. 3.5 x 300 sq.mm AYFY/XLPE power cable

Erection of new 600/300/200 mm GI ladder type cable tray on newly fabricated supports and replacing of existing corroded GI ladder type cable tray 600/300/200mm without damaging/deforming the cable on it with new one along the existing cable tray structure. Tray shall be jointed with GI side coupler with Bolts & Nuts. The cables shall be neatly dressed and clamped as per standards. Required qty of GI cable trays and coupling plates shall be supplied by KMML from the store. All other materials shall be supplied by contractor.

Fabrication and erection of the supports for cable trays, panel foundations, earthling etc. without disturbing the existing cables/cable trays. Newly fabricated supports shall be painted with one coat of epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy grey paint. MS items shall be supplied by KMML. required paint ( make : Asian/Nerolac/Shalimar) shall be supplied by contractor

Re-routing and laying of existing cables of following sizes through cable trays/structures/trenches etc. Removal and rerouting shall be measured separately 3.5 x 300 sq.mm AYFY/XLPE power cable

Preparation of electrical drawings and approval from electrical inspectorate for new installation including energisation sanction as per scope of work.
