REPAIR /REPLACEMENT OF EOT CRANE AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT MIL STN YOL

M&L for servicing of EOT Crane of capacity upto 5 ton of Make : TIB UDHYOG including and adopting process as follows : (a) Replacement of gear oil in gear boxes. (b) Greasing the whole crane (c) Before filling the gear boxes, cleaning of gear box inside and outside by using diesel (d) Checking the wheel condition (e) If thruster/drum brakes are used checking the level of oil in it and to be refilled the same if required (f) Checking the working of the brakes and to be changed the same if required (g) Checking the connection of all motors (h) Checking the condition of all motors, rewinding the same if required (i) Checking the condition of all couplings and to be changed the same if required (k) Checking nuts & bolts fitted on the crane and to be changed the same if required (l) Checking the condition of the all power cables fitted on the crane and to be changed the same if required (m) Check the break shoe fitted on the break of the crane , if required then change the same

(n) Checking the limit switch fitted on the crane , if required then to be replaced the same . (o) Check the step down transformer, single phase preventer , terminal block, MCB, HRC and DBR and to be changed the same if required. (p) If VFD is installed, checking the same and if required then replace the same (q) Checking the pendant, if element and push button required to be changed then the same to be replaced. Notes : (i) All unserviceable spare parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ. (ii) Cost of Grease & Oil shall be deemed included in unit quoted rate for this item. (iii) Servicing of crane shall be carried out through OEM only. Contractor shall have to submit the MoU with the concerned OEM for maintenance of crane before the issuance of work order . (iv) After servicing, OEM shall submit the serviceability certificate and warranty for the replaced items for two year from the date of servicing.

Load testing of EOT Crane upto 5 TON Capacity of any make and model, comprising two number tests for each crane i.e. Capacity test and Brake Test as per IS : 3177 of 197 by putting the requisite load, writing date of test and next due date for testing on the crane with white synthetic enamel paint over a black strip of synthetic enamel paint complete all as directed . Note:- (i) M & L for Load for testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own and the rate of this item shall include the cost thereof. (ii) Testing of particular crane shall be scheduled by Engineer-in-Charge (iii) Load testing and caliberation of EOT crane carried out in the presence of competent person under factories act 1963 and rep of OEM. After completion of load testing, contractor will produce Form 11 duly signed by competent person under factories Act 1963. (Mobile Crane, Truck & Trailer shall be arranged by contractor)

Supply and fixing power contactor for EOT cranes of 2 Ton capacity up to 32 Amps with 2 NO and 2 NC all as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing 10-way pendent push Button control panel (MS fabricated box with powder coated painting) fitted with 10 Nos siemens make push buttons & 10 Nos push button elements (contacts) suitable for EOT Cranes capacity up to 5 Ton all as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing brake liners for Long /Cross Travel / Hoist motion of EOT Cranes

Supply and fixing of brake and brake pad for Long /Cross Travel / Hoist motion of EOT Cranes capacity up to 5 ton all as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply and fixing PVC crane control cable 4 core x 4 sqmm all as directed by Engineer in charge.

Supply, replacing, testing and commissioning of VFD with required power and control cables, cable legs, for fixing of Drive suitable for CT & LT operation up to 2 HP, 0-10 Amps for 2 to 5 Ton capacity EOT cranes. Any change required in the control panel including control wiring will be included in the quoted rates.

Supply, replacing, testing and commissioning of VFD with required slip resistance, power and control cables, cable legs, for fixing of Drive suitable to work on Main Hoist slipring induction motors up to 7.5 HP, 22 Amps for 2 to 5 Ton capacity EOT cranes. Any change required in the control panel including control wiring will be included in the quoted rates.
