Plate load Test for finding K Value
Mobilization and conducting the test. Setting up of loading platform, plate hydraulic jack and settlement measurement devices as per IS:1888 and loading upto the required load using aggregate to conduct the test. For conducting plate load test to determine the bearing capacity and load/settlement characteristics of soil at shallow depth by loading a plate and levelled steel plate kept at the desired depth and measuring the settlement under diffrent loads until a desired settlement takes place or failure occurs conform to IS:1888
