Erection, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of MCC Panel at Water Treatment Plant of TP Unit

Removal of 3.5 X 300 sq.mm LT aluminium power cable from existing cable trays/supports from TSP to DG PCC without damaging the cable which includes coiling and transporting the coiled cable to PCC 2 for cable laying to WTP MCC 1. The cable shall be removed in single length of 275 meter suitable for cabling works from PCC 2 to new WTP MCC 1. The balance cable to be returned to Central Store.

Erection, installation including transportation of shipping sections from C stores(Approx.: 300 mtrs), leading, mounting, levelling and assembly of WTP MCC 1 of dimension 8700 X 800 X 2275 mm in WTP, consisting of incomers ACB's, MCCB's and VFD's as per the SLD attached after coupling and bus bar connections of 5 shipping sections of WTP MCC 1. Pre commissioning checks and commissioning of WTP MCC 1 which includes checking all inter connection of buses, electrical/mechanical operation of ACBs, control wirings, operation/programming assistance of VFD's as per standards is included in the scope of contractor. The WTP MCC 1 shall be supplied by KMML. Necessary transportation facilities and material handling for positioning of WTP MCC shall be arranged by the contractor.

Fabrication and erection of the new cable supports and mounting of the supports without disturbing the existing cables/cable trays . Newly fabricated supports shall be properly cleaned, sand blasted and painted with two coat of epoxy primer and two coats of epoxy grey paint. MS items shall be supplied by KMML. required paint ( make : Asian/Nerolac/Shalimar/Berger) shall be supplied by contractor

Erection of new 600/300/200 mm GI ladder type cable tray on newly fabricated supports and replacing of existing corroded GI ladder type cable tray 600/300/200mm without damaging/deforming the cable on it with new one along the existing cable tray structure. Tray shall be jointed with GI side coupler with Bolts & Nuts. The cables shall be neatly dressed and clamped as per standards. Required qty of GI cable trays and coupling plates shall be supplied by KMML from the store. All other materials including SS bolts and nuts shall be supplied by contractor

Re-routing and laying of existing power/control cables along the cable trays/wall/supports/cable trenches after proper clamping by using Al clamps, GI nuts and bolts as per scope of work. Removal and re-routing shall be measured separately. 3.5 x 300 sq. mm

Laying, dressing and clamping of following 1100 V grade power/control cables along the cable trays/wall/supports/cable trenches after proper clamping by using Al clamps, GI nuts and bolts as per scope of work. Power/control cables shall be supplied by KMML. All other materials required are under scope of the contractor. 3.5 x 300 sq.mm

Supply, glanding and termination of following AYFY/YWY power/control cables using DC cable glands, lugs, nuts and bolts including earthing. All terminations and earthing materials including SS fasteners shall be supplied by the contractor. Earthing shall be done as per standards. 3.5 x 300 sq.mm

Laying and clamping of GI earth strips 65X 10 mm along trenches/walls including excavation (depth 70 cm, approximately 50 mtr), backfilling of the trench & connect to the nearest earth pit/earth grid including double earthing of new MCC panel. Welded joints shall be covered with jute & bitumen. 65X10 mm GI earth strip shall be supplied by KMML. All other materials required shall be supplied by the contractor. The area shall be refilled and levelled after laying earth strips.

Making straight through cable jointing with heat shrinkable jointing kit for the following AYFY/XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1100 V grade. The required cable joining kit shall be issued by KMML and all other materials required for making straight through cable jointing shall be issued by contractor 3.5 x 300 sq.mm

Dismantling the existing L&T make WTP MCC 1 of dimension 8000 X 2000 X 500 mm at WTP after disconnection/de-glanding the power and control cables, bus-duct and earth flat without damage. Disconnection and removal of existing AYFY power cables/control cables without any damage, includes, 3.5 X300 sq. mm AYFY power cables- 6 Runs, 3.5 X 185 sq. mmm AYFY power cables-10 Runs, 5/7X1.5 sq. mm YWY control cables - 5 Nos, and 27X1.5 sq. mm YWY control cables- 3 runs. These cables after disconnection shall be properly tagged with outgoing feeder for the easy termination to the temporary feeders as shown by concerned engineer. The MCC shall be dismantled into three/four panel sections and transported to the central store/location shown by the concerned engineer. Cleaning of the existing trench (1200 x 600 mm) with minor civil works and repair/replace the existing inserts/base channels, as required, after taking out all the cables is also included in scope of the contractor.

Preparation of all electrical drawings and obtaining approval from electrical inspectorate for WTP MCC 1, complete.
