Cutting uprooting and clearing jungles including shrubs, water weeds,bushes, trees, plants, upto 30 cm. girth including removing as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Earthwork from borrow pits over existing embankment or for repairs to embankment, closing breaches etc. within an initial lead of 30 metre and lift of 1.50 metre including breaking clods and depositing the same in layers not exceeding 25 cm. and rough dressing etc. complete as per profile.

Extra rate over Item Nos.2.00 above for all kinds of soil for every additional lead of 30 metres or part thereof beyond the initial lead of 30 metres. A) 6(Six) nos lead.

Earthwork in excavation in all kinds of soil for making embankments, repairs to the embankment, closing breaches etc. as per profile including supply and transporting the earth by truck or tractor or any other mechanical means on land , including loading, transporting, unloading and stacking with all lifts bothways and head load where necessary and depositing the same on embankments, clannels, filling depressions in requisite profile, levelling as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge within a lead of, A) Beyond 4.00 km and upto 5.00 km. NB: Measurement to be taken on the basis of stack measurement / prepost work section measurement after deduction of void as per norms. No extra payment will be made for stacking. Note: For compensation for earth for land ownwd and arranged by contractor add Rs. 25.00 per cum extra over rate of E/W for land owned/arranged by the Department Royalty Charges on earth @29.00 per cum & cesses charges @ Rs. 5.30 per cum (i.e, Rs. 15.00 per 100 cft), as per Govt. notification, which will be paid on production of necessary documents in support of payment made towards the royalties and cesses.

Excavation of structures: Excavation for Structures Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per drawing and technical specification, including setting out, removing, spreading or stacking of spoils within a lead of 150 m. as directed and including trimming the sides of the trenches, leveling, dressing and ramming the bottom, and backfilling with approved aterial complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. A) In all sorts of soil excluding marshy soil & rocks(soft or hard) by manual means; i) Upto 3 m depth, a) With pumping out water including shoring as required.

Ordinary cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm. nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. A) Pakur variety. [Cement : PSC / PPC/OPC 33]

Supplying, fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in Sub-structure including initial straightening, straightening of coils bars, removal of loose rust (if any), cutting to requisite length bending, binding with annealed wire not less than 1mm in size and conforming to IS 280 at every intersection hooked and bent to correct shape and placed on forms etc. including cost of black annealed wire and cost of loading, unloading,carriage of all steel materials complete as per drawing and technical specifications and direction of Engineer-in-charge. A) Steel materials Tor Steel rods / HYSD bars / TMT bars. (JSW/JSPL / Shyam / SRMB/SSL/ BMASL / Electrosteel) (Fe 415 /Fe 500 /Fe 500D, conforms to lS: 1786)

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessary staging upto 4m using approved stout props and thick hardwood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor). A) 25 mm to 30 mm thick shuttering without staging in foundation.

Making filter with well graded 40 mm down ballasts and laying uniformly behind weep holes, below pitching on bed, side slopes including supply and carriage of all materials to site including preparing bed with earthwork up to 30 cm depth, where necessary and compacting with wooden malllet after laying to achieve designed section as per direction of the Engineer- in - Charge (measurements will be on finished work / in stack after deducting necessary void). A) 1st class brick ballast.
