Supply of submersible pumping set of KSB/ Kirloskar/Crompton / Johnston / BS/ SU confirming to BIS - 8034 -1979 (latest) suitable for clear water fitted with bronze impellers or suitable alloys directly coupled to squirrell cage electric induction motor of same make as that of pump confirming to IS: 9238-1979 latest with up to date amendments ) and totally water proof for submersible duty.,isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber grease packed lubricated bearing & provided with stainless steel thurst bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear & tear. It should also be fitted with device to a take up expansion of water with heating of motor including water level guard errection clamps, cable clips & depth gauge etc. The pump shall be suitable for operation on data given below:-

Providing and laying of suitable size copper PVC insulated armoured power 3.5 core cable .confirming to BIS 1554 (Part-I) 1988 of latest with up to date amendements of siemen / Gloster /ICC finollex make from meter of HPSEB-to-MCB / & from OCB to Busbar switch and starter (one cable carrying all three phases ) including all other electrical equipment /accessories such as thimbles ,flexible pipe solder ,nuts and bolts ,cable glands etc. laid in pipes of trenches under floor . The type size and make will be subject to approval of HPSEB autherities . In case of non -acceptance by HPSEB autherities it shall have to be replaced by the tenderer free of coat. a ) Supply side of size 10 mm Sqm

Providing and laying of PVC jointless flat water proof cable as per BIS,694-1990 (latest with up to date amendements ) suitable for the pump sets offered from OCB to motor , Motor to starter including all other electric equipment such as thimbles ,flexible pipe , solder , nut & bolt ,cable , glands etc . laid in pipes or trenches under floor . The type & make will be subject to approval of HPSEB authorities . In case of non acceptance by HPSEB authorities it shall have to be replaced by the tender free of cost. a ) Motor side of size 10.00 mm²

Providing and laying of double loop earthing with copper plate 600x600 x3mm thick electrode complete with material such as charcoal ,common salt ,G.I. pipe ,thimbles ,nuts and bolts .digging of pits ,G.I. wiring & 25x5 mm thick copper sterips of required capacity conforming to BIS 3043-1987 latest with up to date amendements for above motors and other electrical equipment.

Supply & Errection of floor / wall mounted power factor shunt capacitor conforming to BIS : 2834-1986 latest with upto date amendements L & T / BHEL/ GEC/ Machneil /Mager / Bajaj make to raise the prevailing power factor at site to 0.95 for direct connection to induction motor individually of required KVAR according to HP of motor offered including cable siemens/Gloste/ICC make form busbar chamber to capacitor and also including L&T/LK/Kilburn make ICTP Switches conforming to BIS-4064-1978 or latest with HRC fuses.

Supply of standard make circular dial pressure gauge of suitbale rangs of Feibeg / Bourden / Precision make with all accessories such as stop cock copper tubing etc. Conforming to BIS: 3624-1987 latest with up to date ammendements.

Laying of column assembly of 80 mm dia G.I pipe confirming to BIS: 1239 considering site requirement duly flanged at every 3 metre length with flanges conforming to BIS - 6392-1971/ BIS 1239 ( Table -5 ) including tapers , flanges , rubber , gasket 3mm thick as per BIS -2712-1978 , nuts & boult as per 1364-1983 & specials up to collection tank as per direction of Engineer in Charge as per layout approved by Engineer -in-charge .The pipe shall be capable of with standing 1.5 times the total pressure indicated in item No. 1 (xii ) ( The size of pipe shall be suppling by the tenderer ) NOTE :- Actual laying to be done as per final drawings to be approved by the Enginbeer-in- charge.
