Supply, installation, commissioning and testing of diesel Engine driven factory assembled, floor mounted silent type diesel generating set of capacity 62.5 KVA (50 KW), 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 415 Volts 1500 RPM complete with safety contact and metering equipment mounted on common base frame mounted made up of MS angle iron frame fabricated out of CRCA sheet steel 3.15mm thick, with anti-vibration pads as recommended by manufacturer from DG set manufacturer’s with all fixing arrangement complete all as specified and as directed. Make: Kirloskar/Cummins/Greaves

The DG Set shall be comprising of the following :- (a) The alternator shall be self excited self regulated and foot mounted fitted with ball and or roller bearing . The alternator will be suitable for tropical climate. The excitation system consists of an electronic automatic regulator having very fast response to load changes. The silent features of alternator is to be (i) ( + ) or ( - ) 1% voltage regulation under static conditions (ii) Class F insulation.

(b) Prime mover directly coupled with engine 104 BHP for driving 63.5 KVA (50 KW) capacity alternator, 1500 RPM electric-start four stroke diesel engine confirming to BS-5514/BS-649/IS-10,000 for continuous running and capable for taking 10% over load for one hour for every 12 hours with the following accessories:- (i) Heavy duty radiator (ii) Radiator fan and fan drive (iii) Fly wheel with housing (iv) Thermostat controlled cooling system (v) Cooling water centrifugal pump (vi) One No silencer residential type vii) Rotary fuel injection pump (viii) Spin on type fuel filter (ix) Lubrication oil pump with cooler (x) Mechanical Governor (xi) 12 volt electrical system with engine starter motor and battery charging alternator. (xii) Safety switches for high water temperature low lubrication oil pressure and engine over speed (xiii) User hand book (xiv) Lead acid storage battery of rated capacity as per recommendation of OEM along with battery lead copper and connector. (xv) Daily services fuel tank suitable for full load running of DG set for min 8 hours enclosed within the canopy all as per CPCB norms with level indicator inlet, fuel outlet, drain plug, air vent and locking arrangement etc. (xvi) Standard safety device. (xvii) Exhaust system shall be provided with thermal insulator by using fire retardant / non igniting foam conforming to IS4722/BS- 2613 to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator.

Supply, lay,jointing and testing of 3.5 core 70 sq mm XLPE cable insulated screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells/ KEI/Polycab or equivalent in makes specified under list of makes in Particular Specifications.

Supply, lay,jointing and testing of 3.5 core 25 sq mm XLPE cable insulated screened PVC bedded galvanized steel strip or wire armored, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor complete all as specified and directed. Make : Havells/ KEI/Polycab or equivalent in makes specified under list of makes in Particular Specifications.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for taking out/laying cable and getting out, in Soft/Loose Soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in any type of soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply spreading in trenches fine dry river sand for cable protection and punning down gently by hand all as specified and as directed.

Supply and lay cable cover for LT Cable Class LV,type 1 , flat size 250mmx150mm x 40 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying & Laying, connecting and testing GI Pipe 40 mm bore light grade including necessary fittings for cable protection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Cutting the existing road/hard standing surfaces to a depth of 60cm and 50cm width and getting out for laying under ground cable including returning filling in, watering well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in soil and filling the top 15 cm thick width and making good as per the existing by providing PCC etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge.

Earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick buried directly to ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr below the ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.65 Mtr below normal ground level connected to GI strip 32 x 6 mm size and earthing lead protected with 50 mm dia GI pipe light grade filling around with charcoal dust and salt including excavation, returning, filling of earth and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and connected to GI strip by means of GI nuts, bolts and washers strip connected to earth plate including chamber PCC 1 : 3 : 6 type C1. using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in concrete pit pre-cast RCC 40 mm thick reinforced with 6 mm dia round at the rate of 75 mm C/C both way with 12 mm dia mild steel plain bar lifting handle 2 Nos funnel with wire mesh 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade watering pipe and frame work complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 5 of SSR Part - I 1991 including testing complete. (GI strip upto 7.5 m length in included in unit rate quoted by contractor and beyond this lengths the same shall be measured & paid separately. for(DG Set -2Nos, LT Panel -2 Nos).

Supply, fixing, jointing and testing On load changover switch 63 amps 415 Volts. Three pole and neutral including MS enclosure and poweder coated duly fixed on wall complete all as specified and directed. Make: L&T/Legrand/ Havells
