Appendix A - Road Surfacing

3.6:Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross sections, and transporting to the embankment location within all lifts and lead upto 1000m

3.15:Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with in all lifts and lead upto 1000 metres by Mechanical Means

4.2.A.2:Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, spreading in uniform layers with a motor grader on a prepared surface, mixing by mix in-place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with a vibratory roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Grading-IV - For lower sub-base - Mix in Place Method

4.12:Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.

5.1.a:Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion ( SS) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 - 1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means.

5.2.a:Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion( RS) using emulsion pressure distributor at the rate of 0.20 - 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

5.3.2.a:Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 80-100 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with a bituminous binder (VG 30), transported to the site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level, and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction For Grading II - (19 mm nominal size)

5.6.2.a:Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 80-100 TPH hot mix plant producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with a bituminous binder( NRMB) @ 5.4 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level, and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause No. 507 complete in all respects For Grading - II (13.2 mm Nominal Size)

55.24:Providing and laying bituminous concrete with 80-100 TPH hot mix plant producing an average out put of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder (NRMB) @ 5.4 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hotmix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORTH specification clause NO. 507 complete in all respects (using 7% shredded plastic) Grading - II (13.2 mm nominal size)

3.17:Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2.

12.4:Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 nominal mix in foundation with crushed stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size mechanically mixed, placed in foundation and compacted by vibration including curing for 14 days.

8.15:Supplying and installation of delineator (Roadway indicators) posts 80- 100cm high above ground level, pained black, and white in 15 cm wide strips, fitted with min. 80 x 100 mm rectangular or 75 mm dia circular retro reflectorized panels at the top with minimum visibility of 300m with provisions to prevent edge lifting and vandalisam, and conforming to clause 806 , IRC-79 and the drawings including fixing to ground (The deleniator shall be of approved type as per specification)

OD70028/2023-2024:Maintenance of road way for a period of 1 year after 3 year from the date of completion of the work including clearing of silt from BT surface and clearing of vegetation and thick thorny jungles ,cutting branches of trees, BT surface patch works clearing culverts painting in road surface etc and arrange the road way with out any damage for the 4th year after completion (The payment will be released on successful completion of the maintenance work and on production of the certificate from the Engineer to the effect that the maintenance works were done properly to the standards and satisfaction.)

OD70029/2023-2024:Maintenance of the road way for a period of 1 year after 4 year from the date of completionof the work, including Clearing of grass and thick throny jungles, clearing silt from BT surface, cutting branches of trees, BT surface Patch works ,thermoplastic paint application cleaning of sign boards etc and arranging theroad way with out any damage for the 5th year after completion (The payment will be released on successful completion of the maintenance work and on production of the certificate from the Engineer to the effect that the maintenance works were done properly to the standards and satisfaction.)

OD70030/2023-2024:Maintanance of the roadway for a period of one year after 5 year from the date of completion of the work, including clearing of grass and thick throny jungles, cleaning silt from BT surface, cutting branches of trees, BT surface patch works, thermoplastic paint application, cleaning of sign boards etc and arranging the roadway without any damage for the 6 th year after completion.
