Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503
Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto a lead of 1000 m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical Specification Clause 504. (Bitumen VG-10 @ 3.3% of the weight of mix has been used for analysis purpose. The choice of bitumen will depend upon the prevailing site conditions and shall be in accordance with Clause 504 of MORD) with Bitumen VG-30.
Providing and laying Semi Dense Bituminous Concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonnes per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 4.5% of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRTH specification clause No. 508 complete in all respects. Grading II - 10mm using VG - 30 bitumen.
Providing and Laying of Interlocking Concrete Block Pavements of M-40 Grade having thickness 80 mm as per drawings and Technical Specification Clause 1504.
Plain/reinforced cement concrete in substructure complete as per drawings and technical specification Clauses 802, 804, 805, 806, 807, 1202 ans 1204 (For height upto 5 m) P.C.C. grade M 20 Nominal mix (1:2:4)
Note :- 1- Defect Laibilty Period for work done will be 3 Years after actual date of complition. 2- Maintenance to be done by contractor for 3 years after actual date of complition of work for which Payment will be made 0.5% for Ist year, 1.0% for 2nd years & 1.50% for 3rd year over final cost of work done. Maintenance will be done as per maintenance manual of PWD Uttarakhand and relevant code and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge such as (i) Trimming of grass and weeds from the shoulders/berms and disposing off the same to suitable locations. (ii) Maintenance of road side drains including minor slip/malba clearence, reshaping, deepening and regrading as well as catch water drains. (iii) Maintenance of shoulders to the required level by filling/cutting the soil and its compacting including disposal of the surplus material in approved muck disposal point. (iv) Maintenance of scuppers, Causeway & culverts by way of clearing, cleaning, Erosion repair, repairs to cracks, parapet walls and protection works. (v) Maintenance of road signs by way of cleaning and repainting. (vi) maintenance of 200 Metre Hectometer stone, Km stone and 5th km stone by way of refixing of tilted stones, repairing with cement motar, painting and lettering. (vii) Repairing of pot holes and patches with same material for construction or as per direction for Engineer-in charge.
