( earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr depth below ground level at any type of strata ) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5mtr below normal ground level connected by 4 mm GI wire as earth lead by means of brass nuts and bolt,thimbles check nuts, washers including concrete chamber of PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mm x300mm, 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 funnel with wire mesh, RCC pit cover of 320x320x80mm size (1:2:4) Type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate rainforced with XPM and charcoal, dust and common salt all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-1(2009) and specified including and provision of GI wire upto 7.5 mtrs long with 15 mm dia light grade Gi pipe protection and watering pipe of GI 20 mm bore, medium grade, including all exavation and earth work and connecting the earthing strip to panel, including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC(1:2:4) type B1, 80mm thick rainforced with XPM weighting not less than 4kg/sqm in lieu of CI cover. (ii) Cost of additional GI wire upto 7.5 mtrs is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by contractor.
