Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 mtr width and getting out soil including forming bottom surface to required slope/gradient for laying cables/pipes etc. including removing cable protection covers/ bricks complete all as specified and directed. Notes : (i) Excavation shall be made carefully in order to avoid damage of existing cables and brick protection. (ii) The excavation work may be carried out in short lengths for locating fault in under ground cables at different locations

M&L for Returning, filling in, including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming the excavated soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr distance and depositing as directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for sand filling with clean dry fine sand unwashed including gently punning around cables in trenches/ducts for cable protection complete all as specified and directed (NOTE : Thickness after punning shall be measured for payment)

Supplying & Laying un-reinforced pre cast flat concrete cable protection cover of class HV, type I, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, factory made, complete all as specified and directed .

Fixing / laying only old un-reinforced pre cast flat concrete cable protection cover of any description complete all as specified and directed . Note :- Old concrete cable protection cover retrived under item No.01 herein above shall be reused.

Supplying, Laying, testing and commissioning in replacement of UNSV XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed (heavy duty) armoured shielded cable with aluminium conductor for working voltage upto 11KV (Earthed) ,conforming to IS 7098 Part-II amended upto date complete, having cross sectional area under mentioned size of cables laid in trenches/fixed on pole/wall / passed through pipe including making necessary connection with VCB/OCB/ 4 pole/2 pole structure etc. complete all as specified and directed. Dismantling & taking out unserviceable steel & iron items from poles i.e cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates etc. including nuts & bolts complete and Supply & fixing cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts & bolts , washers , welding bending cold or hot , drilling holes for bolts in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in rteplacement of UNSV Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, final, taper plug bolt, nuts & screws of type 410 SP-55 (11 M long) complete, all as directed all as specified. Note :- Earthwork, cement concrete in foundation, coping, cross arms ACSR conductors will be measured and paid separately under relevant items.

Supply , Install and testing in replacement of unserviceable insulators pin type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulators,for working pressure 11000 volts of size 150mm height and 150 mm dia including one galvanized mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, etc for HT lines fixed on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supply , Install and testing in replacement of unserviceable disc type porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulators,for working pressure 11000 volts of size 145mm height and 255 mm dia including two in series assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, etc for HT lines fixed on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Supply , Install and testing in replacement of unserviceable HT 11kV vertical swing triple pole gang operated air break switch (GOD) consisting of twelve insulator (3 insulators in each phase and one each for DO fuse). Mounted over the MS channel frame, operating mechanism, operating handle GI medium grade 25 mm bore, 5 mtr long with locking arrangement system connected with operating handle and 7 leaver lock of Godrej, moving and fixed jaws, copper jumpher strip etc suitable for 11000 volt 200 Amp current rating all as specified and directed at site..

Dismantling and taking down existing unserviceable lightning arrestor of any capacity and any description and Supply, fixing, commissioning & testing of distribution class lighting arrestor of rating 12 KV capacity and 10 KA NDC(Peak) confirming to to IEC-99.4 including brackets, clamps, bolts, nuts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying,Straightening and Stringing in replacement of UNSV aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) conductor off size including jointing the conductor with new conductor on existing HT pole and binding to insulator with the new aluminium wire binding wire 2 mm dia making and connecting jumper connections etc including connecting commissioning and testing complete, all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supplying, Straightening and Stringing in replacement of UNSV Guard/ cradles hexagonal/ rectangular, fabricated in replacement of UNSV galvanized steel wire 3.15 or 4mm dia . all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Restringing of HT existing over head line of ACSR conductor after disconnecting from the insulators & jumpers to the required tension & sag & binding up & connecting to insulators & jumpers properly testing complete, including chopping off tree branches (coming in the way line) all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Notes:- For item No 23 & 25 (i) The quoted rate is inclusive of the cost of Setting /adjusting of cradles in positions. Adjusting & tighting etc where ever required. (ii) The quoted rate is inclusive of the cost of old serviceable jumper of ACSR conductor shall be reused and fixed. (iv) The quoted rate is inclusive of the cost of Cutting/trimming of tree branches along with the exisitng HT overhead line 2 mtr clearence from all sides of ACSR conductor including removal from the site.

M&L in replecement of UNSV jumper with weasel conductor suitable for HT, 11000 volts grade required at site with suitable size of luge on both end including proper crimpinf etc.complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Material and labour for cleaning and preparation of all existing steel surfaces of pole structure of straight steel tubular poles 11 mtrs long for painting including mild steel cross arms, clamps and anti clibing device,protection pipe etc and applying one coat of aluminium paint all round the exposed steel surfaces of existing steel tubular poles structure of any description and in any position above the height of 1.50 mtr from the plinth of the pole and applying one coat of synthetic enameled paint of different colours in strips of 150mm width upto the height 1.5 mtr from the plinth of poles including writing pole No and other sign works with white paint over black painted base in the pattern and style as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified & directed.Note : Size of black painted base for numbering shall be 100mmx25mm and the size of numbers shall be not exceeding 10cm height.

M & L for PCC 1:2:4 type B2 with 40mm grade stone aggregate as in foundation for outstanding around pole near feeder pillar/LT panel foundation of stays, including form work, fair finishing to exposed surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:4:8 type D2 with 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation for hard standing around pole & near feeder pillar/LT panel foundation of stays, including form work, fair finishing to exposed surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 with 40 mm grade stone aggregate for coping of poles,stays incl. form work complete all as directedby Engr-in-Charge.

Brickwork with subclass ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement plastering 1:4 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for spreading crushed/hand broken 20/ 40 mm graded sand stone aggregate around and under 4 pole/ 2 pole structure/11 KV Yard uniformally complete, all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Excavation of earth work will be measured & paid separately under relevant items. (ii) Spread thickness of aggregates shall be measured and cubical content shall be worked out with deduction of 50% for voids for arriving at net qty.

M&L in replacement of UNSV danger notice board and Supply and fixing new danger notice board size 250mmx200 mm made out of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, suitable for 11KV HT line and applying two coats of synthetic enameled paint (red colour) over a coat of red oxide primer including writing letters,figures and conventional skull and bones of suitable size on board in standard pattern as per IS fixed with and including MS clamps made out of mild steel flat iron,bolts ,nuts and washers etc complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below ground level) connected to galvanized iron earth lead 32X 6 mm GI strip, (main earthing lead ) by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate No . 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt alround earth plate & 40 mm dia GI pipe light grade for earth lead protection pipe for suitable length and GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for watering pipe with funnel & wire mesh incl necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, and PCC (1: 3 : 6) type C-1 (using 20 mm graded black trap/ granite/ Basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40x40x6 mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover and 40 mm thick precast RCC cover in 1 : 2 : 4 type B1(using 20 mm graded black trap/granite/ basalt stone aggregate) with 3 Nos 8 mm dia TMT bars both ways with 12mm dia round bar handle, complete all as specified & directed .

Disconnecting and taking down carefully old unserviceable GI strip of any type and size and Material and labour for laying along the wall/roof GI strip of size 32mm x 6mm complete with all accessories such as porcelain insulators, saddles and fixing screw etc for conductor complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L in replacement of UNSV chequred tile 20cmx20cmx25mm thick with 20mm thick screed bed in cement mortar complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for two coat of white wash over a coat of primer including prepaation of new surfaces complete, all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
