M&L for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode 600mmx600mmx6mm thick burried in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25mtr below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 meter below the ground level, earth plate surrounded 15cm thick layers of common salt and charcoal dust starting from ground below 15 cm of earth plate and up to 15 cm above the same. GI plate connected with galvanised iron strip 32×6mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel. GI Strip laid in 40mm dia light grade GI pipe as protection from top of the plate up to test point (cost of protection pipe up to 7.5 meters from earth electrode will be included in the rates quoted by the contractor) with following complete all as specified and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I & testing on completion :- (a) GI strip 32x6 mm. (b) Watering pipe GI medium grade 20mm dia from top of the earth electrode up to MS funnel with wire mesh embeded in floor of PCC earth pit. (MS Funnel should properly tightned on GI watering pipe and embeded in PCC floor of earth pit with open top suitable for watering of earth pits) (c) Excavation & earthwork in any type of soil PCC earth pit 30x30x30cm constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 exposed surfaces smoothly finished with 15mm thick cement mortar 1:6 plaster including RCC pit cover 50mm thick 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8mm dia mild steel bar 75mm centre to centre with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia suitable for carrying of pit cover.

M&L in replacement of aluminium strip 25X3.15mm earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors and down conductors upto test point and further connected to ground conductor fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of earth contuinity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit / pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as required 4 mm dia galvanized iron wire, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in repair of PCC earth pit 30x30x30cm constructed in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 exposed surfaces smoothly finished with 15mm thick cement mortar 1:6 plaster including RCC pit cover 50mm thick 1:2:4 type B1 reinforced with 8mm dia mild steel bar 75mm centre to centre with 2 Nos MS handles of 12mm dia suitable for carrying of pit cover, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of MS Funnel with wire mesh of existing size, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L in replacement of brass copper lightning Conductor 5/8' diameter and 1 mtr in length with 5 spike and base plate, base insulator etc., complete all as specified.

Note : Deduction for amount of Rs. 20,180.00 as listed in Schedule 'A' Part-II (Schedule of Credit) shall be made while awarding of contract.
