CLEANING OF SEWAGE PIPES AND MANHOLES INCLUDING REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF SEWAGE PIPES, MANHOLES, MANHOLE COVERS IN SECTOR 28 AND 47 AT BRD AF STN UNDER GE (AF) MC CHANDIGARH

Cleaning and maintenance of solid/liquid mud/any type of solid content including mud, brick bats, empty containers of any type, rags, polythene or any similar items deposited in underground sewage lines at any depth upto 2.5 metres including manholes/inspection chambers of any size and any depth, using SUPER SUCTION MACHINE TRUCK MOUNTED HAVING SUCTION CAPACITY 1000 TO 4000 CUM/HRS, JETTING PUMP WITH WORKING PRESSURE AT LEAST 120 BAR having facilities of high pressure water thermoplastic fiber braided water jetting hose and through conical/round shape nozzler pipe in Sector 47 & 28 area, under BRD AF Station Chandigarh. Bottom surface of manholes/inspection chambers & sewage lines should be visible after cleaning process. Sludge/sludge water/any type of waste recovered from sewage lines/manholes/inspection chambers shall be disposed off at authorized dumping site declared by local administration outside Ministry of defence land complete all as specified and as directed. Notes:- (i) Lines once cleared will be maintained through out the period of the contract for free flow. If there is any blockage during the period of the contract, the same will be cleared without any extra cost by the contractor. (ii) In case of any blockage is observed/found in any cleared line through super suction machine during the time period of contract and it becomes necessary to clear the sewage line again, the same shall be cleared through machine by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. The line shall be cleared by the contractor within 48hrs after intimation to the contractor. The rate quoted by the contractor against item No 01 above shall be deemed to be inclusive of clearance of line twice or more time as required during the whole contract period not sub part. In case pipe line not fuctioning smoothly recovery shall be recovered from the final bill as decided by GE.

Cleaning & clearing of bore underground sewage line from any type of trap (WCs/Gully trap /floor traps/CI pipes/Nahani traps/Bathrooms etc) to 1st manhole (including trap & manholes by taking off manhole covers and re-fixing the same after cleaning) of any description, underground and at any depth by removing any type of blockage including de-silting and de-chocking (Sludge/sludge water shall be disposed off at authorized dumping site declared by local administration outside MD land complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (a) The complaints shall be attended on the same day and complaints slips duly signed by the user will be deposited back to the JE(Civil) on the same day. (b) A penalty of Rs 200/- per day per person will be levied in case of absence of any of safaiwala or helper. (c) A pucca bound register shall be maintained for this purpose which shall always be kept in custody of JE Civil indicating date and time of complaint informed and rectified respectively. (d) Five complaints will be count as Each Job for payment purpose.

Excavation over areas, not exceeding 1.5m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc. or for shafts, wells cesspits, manholes, pier hole etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm depth in soils, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of excavated spoil to a distance exceeding 250m but not exceeding 500m complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick work built in cement mortar in any position and in any location complete all as specified and directed.

M&L brick work with fly ash bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cement mortar 1:4 in any location, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No 8 above but except bricks.

Taking down cement plaster on any surfaces including raking out joints, hacking for key,scrubbibg down with water etc. and removal of rubbish outside Air force area distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick on brick /concrete surfces in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement with using WPC, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE:- WPC will be paid separately.

Material and labour for preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement base paint at any height including necessary scaffolding, ladder etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Integral water proofing compound, ISI marked complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of 150 mm bore SGSW drain pipes including PCC haunching and bedding jointed in cement mortar and taking out and removal outside Air force area distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of 200 mm bore SGSW drain pipes including PCC haunching and bedding jointed in cement mortar and taking out and removal outside Air force area distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Salt- glazed stoneware drain pipe grade ‘A’ 150mm bore, ISI marked jointed with cement mortar, laid in trenches and tested complete all as specified and directed .

M&L Salt- glazed stoneware drain pipe grade ‘A’ 200mm bore, ISI marked jointed with cement mortar, laid in trenches and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of 150mm reinforced concrete drain pipes, taking out and removal outside Air force area distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete type C-2, 1:3:6 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in concrete bed including packing under & haunching against sides of pipes after the pipe are laid and tested for 150mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Plain cement concrete type C-2, 1:3:6 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in concrete bed including packing under & haunching against sides of pipes after the pipes are laid and tested for 200mm complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thick (below or above ground level) and removal outside Air force area distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing, precast reinforced cement concrete (1:2:4) Type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in landings, cover slabs (for manholes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for TMT bar 6 to 8mm and cut to length, bent to shape required including cranking bending, spirally for hoping for column hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting into existing manhole for connecting new drain, making good to pipes and rendering cutting out existing benching for and forming branch channel (½ round of ¾ section) in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 smooth finished and reforming benching as required for 150 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for fixing in repair after taking out cast iron floor trap/nahani trap 75mm with stainless steel grating including jointing to waste pipe with cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 joint to waste pipe in floor complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling, floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding and removal outside Air force area distance exceeding 1.5Km but n.exc 2Km complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Non Skid ceramic tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/rectangular) area of each tile exceeding 0.11 but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, in floors etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match complete over screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15mm thick in cement mortar 1: 6 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for First Quality, Glazed ceramic coloured tiles 450mm x 300mm x 6mm to 7mm thick, in vertical surface such in skirting, dados, risers to steps, etc set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in coloured cement to match tiles including rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on brick walls for laying tiles complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Machine pressed precast concrete interlocking paver block with grey cement and pigment any shape and size, polished confirming to IS-15658 of 80mm thickness M-40 grade, laid over and including sand cushion of 40mm thick including dismantling of old , complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation. Make:- Surya Kiran/NTC/NITCO

Dismantling steel post or struts embedded in concrete block of any section including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for mild steel work as in posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc, and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cutting holes in brick walls built in cement mortar for inserting holdfasts, depth of embedded portion of holdfasts or lugs measured from the face of the jamb into the wall exceeding one brick but not exceeding two brick, and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar (1:3) or cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 as required, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick, corrugated sheet having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- (i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation. (ii) The contractor shall ensured that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides. (iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer. Material and labour for Galvanised, 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm dia barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacings and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails, straining bolts, including securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire staples or steel pins, etc. including dismantling old barbed wire, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over and including a coat of red oxide primer, on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth, including preparation of steel surface, complete all as specified and directed.
