RENOVATION OF DIFFERENT CONCRETE STRUCTURES INSIDE CPP

Chipping : Dismantling old plaster or chipping of unsound/weak concrete material of 25mm average thickness from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts, all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. (Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height).

Filling/Sealing of cracks/cavities/honeycombed patches : Filling /Sealing of cracks/cavities/honeycombed patches with epoxy based sealing compound or with silicon sealant including making groove by chipping for penetration of sealing complond, cleaning the exposed concrete surface with wire brushes, applying bond coat etc. all complete as per specifications and direction of Manager-In-Charge. (Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height). The rate is inclusive of epoxy based sealing compound. Epoxy Putty : Nitocote VF(Fosroc)or Equivalent Epoxy Bond coat & finish coat : Nitobond EP(Fosroc) or Equivalent

Injection Low viscosity Epoxy Grouting: Opening the cracks on the surface and sealing the cracks using epoxy putty as per manufacturer’s specification(The payment in this item rate is inclusive of Epoxy Putty/Mortar) Drilling holes of 14 mm dia into concrete at a typical spacing of 300-450mm; cleaning the holes; fixing flexible pvc pipe nozzle for grouting purpose; sealing the gap around the nozzle with epoxy putty as per site condition, as per manufacturer’s specification and directions of MIC. Providing and injecting Low viscosity epoxy grout as per manufacturer’s specification till the nozzle refuses to take further grout etc. complete as directed by MIC. In case, the said low viscosity epoxy grout does not permeate in to the concrete, proceed with a treatment using the Super low viscosity Epoxy grout as per manufacturer’s specification etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. Epoxy Grout : Conbextra EP-10 (Fosroc) or equivalent Epoxy putty : Nitocote VF (Fosroc) or equivalent

Epoxy resin Bond : Providing and applying epoxy resin bond coat of approved brand as per manufacturer’s specification before Jacketing with micro-concreting /shotcreting/polymer modified plaster to have perfect bond between old and new surface on prepared old concrete surfaces using nylon brushes etc all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.(Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height). Epoxy resin Bond : Nitobond EP(Fosroc)or equivalent.

Chemically modified Polymer mortar Providing & applying chemically modified fibre reinforced mortar with trowel and finishing the smooth surface in layers not exceeding 20mm at a time. The Chemically modified polymer mortar of approved brand shall be prepared as per manufacturer’s specification into which the polymer fibre reinforcement is to be added and uniformly mixed as per Polymer fibre manufacturer specification. The quantity of fibre that shall be added at the rate of 125 gms per 25 Kg of Chemically modified mortar etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.(Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height). Chemically modified Polymer Mortar: Renderoc S2 (Fosroc) or equivalent.

Anticarbonation Coating: Providing and applying Anti carbonation coating as per manufacturer’s specification of approved brand, manually using brushes on the hardened concrete surfaces after cleaning the surface and removing all loose particles/ deposits etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height). Anti carbonation coating: Dekguard S (Fosroc) or equivalent.

Crack Bridging waterproof Coating: Providing and applying Crack bridging water proof flexible coating as per manufacturer’s specification of approved brand, manually using brushes on the wet hardened concrete surfaces after cleaning the surface and removing all loose particles/deposits etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC.(Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height). Crack bridging Water proof coating : Nitocote CM 210(Fosroc)or equivalent.

Shear Connectors/Keys: Providing and fixing shear connectors(“L” shaped) of 10 mm dia and 125 mm embedding length for fixing new reinforcement by drilling holes of 14 mm dia in concrete. The shear connectors are to be provided in staggered pattern such that new reinforcement shall be properly fixed with the connector in position and subsequently anchored. The anchoring of shear connectors shall be done with suitable epoxy resin hardening system of approved brand following manufacturers specifications etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height).The Steel for Shear keys(MS Bar) will be issued by NALCO at free of cost. Epoxy resin hardening system: Lokfix(Fosroc) or equivalent.

Reinforcement in RCC works for Jacketing with micro concrete. Steel reinforcement for RCC work including transportation from Nalco store, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position and binding all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Reinforcement steel shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).(Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height).

High Strength microconcrete (Shotcrete) for Jacketing: Providing and casting Non shrink, Free flow High strength Micro-concrete using shotcrete machine at a pressure of 3 Kg/cm2 up to 100mm thick in successive layers or with fixing of required shuttering as per requirement and directions of MIC. The Micro-concrete of approved brand for Shotcreting work shall be prepared as per manufacturer’s specification. The quantity of Steel fibre that shall be added at the rate of 250gms per 25 Kg of micro-concrete etc. all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height). Non shrink, free flow high strength Micro-concrete : Renderoc RG(Fosroc) or equivalent

12mm thick Cement Plastering: Providing 12mm thick Cement Plastering in C.M. 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 sand) with waterproof coating and addition of synthetic polyester fibre all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. (Cement shall be issued free of cost at NALCO stores).(Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height).

Acid- Alkali Resistant Tiles: Providing and fixing 10 mm thick acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour using acid and/or alkali resisting mortar bedding, and joints filled with acid and/or alkali resisting cement as per IS: 4457, all complete as per specifications and directions of MIC. In 12 mm thick mortar 1:4 (1 acid proof cement : 4 coarse sand).(Rate includes steel/ aluminium scaffolding with safety net along with other PPEs for all works executed at height).
