SPECIAL REPAIR TO ROAD IN DAD LEKHA NAGAR AREA UNDER GE RAMGARH CANTT

M&L Repair to pot holes any depth, n.exc 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting around edge to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal ( including supply of road metal), watering, well ramming, compacted and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surface completed all as specified and as directed.

Preparing of existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud, grass, vegetation etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface through air compressor to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bitumen primer of VG-10 grade @ 5Kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Bituminous premix aphaltic semi-dense concrete 30mm thick consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content (VG 30) by weight of total mix rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, using mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power static road roller to a uniform smooth surface completed all as specified and as directed. Note :- Mixing shall be done in hot mix plants.

S & F road stud aluminium alloy die casted (cat eye) of size 100mm x 100mm, dynamically designed very high impact strength & fitted with 3 panels of glass beads containing 7 highly reflective glass beads and alluminium alloy body reflector element on two sides fixed over road surface and complete as directed.Make-3M/Dark Eye Model No DA-971 P or other equilant make as approved by the GE.

M&L for road marking paint with hot applied thermoplastic paint 2mm thick having clear and sharp edges over road surfaces including straighting portion, curve etc in any situation. The therrmoplastic material shall be homogeneously composed of aggregate pigment resin and glass reflector rizing beads in equal percentage as specified. The work include for cleaning of road surface, heating the paints within temperature limits as specified by the manufacturer making proper arrangement for traffic during operation etc conforming to specification.

Removing excavated material, soil, n. exc 150m and depositing where directed at a level n.exc. 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified.

Demolition of cement concrete ( unreinforced ) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15 cm thick above or below ground level complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm , deposited , spread and levelled in layer n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified. Note :- Stone aggregates obtained from demolition under item No 7 shall be reused.

M&L plain cement concrete , M-25 (design mix), using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in road, cast in panels of size 3.5m x 2.5 m, finished the surface even and rough complete all as specified.

M&L Forming Contraction ( Dummy ) joints 65 mm deep x 10 mm wide, primed and filled with sealing compound of bitumen (VG-10 grade) & sand in 1:3 mix complete all as specified and directed.
