REPAIRS TO RIGID PAVEMENT, HARDSTANDING INCLUDING ROAD MARKING PAINT AT MISC LOCATION IN AF STN JAMNAGAR UNDER GE (AF) JAMNAGAR NO 2

Preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying a tack coat of bitumen 30 @0.5 Kg/sqm over the existing bitumious surface and providing 30mm thick Mastic asphalt on prepared surface strictly in accordance with IS 5317-2002 (latest modified) with Mastic i.e. bituminous of grade 30 @4.49 Kg mixed with stone dust (lime stone powder with calcium value 80%) @ .008 Cum/Sqm and stone chipping of size 12.5mm and 10mm @.0096 Cum/Sqm and sand @0.004 Cum/Sqm and inserting stone 22mm size with .017kg of 30 bitumen/sqm for anti skiding including all tools and plants etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm of road surface by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism over old black top surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Bituminous premix Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete (SDAC) 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) with crushed and graded coarse aggregates as per design based on Job mix formula with 5.5% bitumen binder content (bitumen of Grade VG-30) by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous concrete in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading uniformly by means of Mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller to a uniform smooth surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for repairs to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 square metre each, including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, on existing road surfaces, and making good applying evenly a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate of 05 Kg per 10 Sqm and providing premixed bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 Kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipping, depth of pot holes exc 30mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Scarifying or picking graveled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n exc 400 sqm in exc 50 mm and n exc 100 mm deep complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for providing, laying, spreading premix bituminous macadam with crushed and graded stone aggregate mixed together with 4.5% of paving bitumen of grade VG-30 by weight of total mix including heating bitumen to the required temperature, mixing bituminous macadam in automatic and temperature controlled hot mixing plant, laying, spreading by means of mechanical paver and rolling and consolidating to the required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) with 8 to 12 tonne power road roller and over a tack coat of paving bitumen primer of grade VG-10 at the rate 5 kg per 10 Sqm by sprayer operated on hot pressure mechanism complete all as specified and as directed.face as specified and as directed by EngineerLin-Charge. Note : Rate of carring out design mix shall be inclusive of rate quoted by the contractor

Providing and applying 2 mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade/colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispensar, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, Labour, T & P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc complete all as per direction of Engineer-in-charge and accordance with applicable specifications complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of PQC / PCC of any description and in any position any thickness below or above ground level, including removal of debris to outside the AF premises.

M&L for providing and laying Dry lean concrete (DLC) 100 mm thick of aggregate gradation as per table 1 of SP 49:2014 having 7 day average compressive strength not less that 7 Mpa Minimum cement content not less than 140 kg/Cum DLC mixed in Batching Plant, transported to site and laid by electronic sensor paver including spreading and compacting using high amplitude tamping bars of paver (initial compaction) further by double drum smooth wheeled vibratory rollers with 80-100 KN static weight to achive, minimum dry density not less than 98% of maximum Dry Density, necessary finishing etc complete all as specifed and tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MoRTH specifications for Road and Bridge work 2013 as specified and directed.
