The job also includes complete painting by way of removing the rust/dirt from the outer surface of the pipe by sanding away with emery/sand papers/steel wire brush, cleaning and making the surface even for painting then apply one coat of primer and two coats of paint on all exposed parts. P/F of 200mm dia MS pipe 13 m approximately for 2 no. suctions lines of unit I and II, by way of preparing the ends with the flanges of appropriate size to be coupled with bends. The job also involves cutting of the MS pipes as per site requirements by gas cutter. Aligning the suction lines with tools and tackles using skilled labour. Strengthening and support of MS suction pipe by installation of hooks/ clamps on either side of the MS pipe by grouting MS angles (50x50x6 mm) after excavation of pits of size(1’x1’x1.5’) and fixing with cement concrete mixture along the length of each suction pipe at 8 spots. after curing for 5 days welding the angles and suction pipe for extra strength/support to suction pipes. M.S Flanges to have suitable drilled holes to match the joining pieces & faced for perfect fit. Job further involves lowering of the foot valves along with suction piece by using chain pulley block and skilled labour, joining of the bends and the suction pipes by bolting via flanges with appropriate no. of new nuts and bolts. The job also includes repair/replacement of staircase parts after extraction of the stair case approximately 200m downstream of the nallah by using JCB, tools and manual labour, repairs involve cutting the damaged parts of stair case by using welding torch, repairs/fabrication of damaged staircase by P/F of 1 no. 15 feet MS supporting channels of size 100x40x6mm. welding the retrieved steps of 2.5 feet width on MS channels, Providing and fitting of 04 no. new steps of size (2.5feet x10 inch) by welding the MS flats of size 40x6mm on MS angle (40x40x6mm) frame. Required no. of MS angle iron post to be welded on both sides of staircase to fix the 40mm dia MS pipes of appropriate length (50 feet approx.) as railings by welding to MS angle post on both sides. The stair case is to be properly fixed by way of welding of the required no. of MS angle supports to be grouted in the earth along the bank. The job also involves etching of dirt and rust from the surface of the staircase using sand paper of appropriate size, making the surface smooth and even, applying one coat of primer red oxide and two coats of paint.
