The job involves dismantling of old/worn-out gate valves of different sizes viz. of 2” – 3 nos., 3” – 1 no. and 1.5” – 1 no. installed at different locations of plumbing section of Govt. SMGS Hospital Jammu using manual labour and special tools and tackles including angle cutter, drill machines etc. The job further involves replacement of valves so dismantled by way of supply and installation of new brass/bronze/gunmetal GATE valves of reputed make viz. Zoloto, L&T & Leader make conforming to relevant ISI and ISO standards and certifications having rating >= PN 10 as per site requirements and direction of engineer-in-chargealong with required accessories including reducers/expanders, unions, nipples. The job also includes testing of the installed valve at closed position, half open position and fully open position at full load to check for any leakages at joints and their rectifications thereafter.
