Manning & Operation of RIMC swimming pool of size 50x21M and diving pool 16x16M, fitted with pressure water filter capacity 250 Cum - 2 Nos with all fittings and valves, Centrifugal pumping sets of capacity 25 HP 55000 GPH- 3 Nos, Chloronome plant 500g/hr capacity- 01 No, Alum dozer (pressure feed type)- One No, Soda ash dozer (Pressure feed type) = 01, Bleaching powder dozer (pressure feed type)- 01 No, Air blower of 7.1/2 HP capacity – 01 No, Cleaning of swimming pool and diving pool bottom surface by operation of suction sweeper and cleaning of swimming pool area in side boundary wall daily as directed by Engineer-in-Charge in following shifts:-

(i) 0600 Hrs to 1400 Hrs

(ii) 1400 Hrs to 2200 Hrs

Note:- (i) 01 No FGM will be employed by the contractor in each shift on all days including sundays and holidays.

(ii) In case the plant remains unoperational due to absence of operator or any other default made by the contractor, the proportional recovery from the contractor will be made at the double the rate with reference to the quoted rates by the contractor for the entire shift irrespective of the period for which plant remained unoperational during a shift.

(iii) Operators shall be equipped with mobile phone and number shall be intimated to the Engineer-in-Charge.

(iv) All operators shall maintain healthy decorum and get themselves conversant with any visiting officers and office staff. They shall be in proper uniform with MES logos and name plates on chest as approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

(v) The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact condition of the swimming pool before quoting the rate.

M&L for Pumping out water from the RIMC swimming pool of size 50x21M, Diving Pool 16x16 and 6 M deep, Lime tank and Balancing tank (fresh water inflow tank), Bleaching tank etc by using pumpset, removing the sediments and mud, algae and cleaning the walls, floors, ducts, channels, surface of glazed tiles, painted and cemented surfaces by using scrappers, brushes, and other mechanical equipments, washing the surfaces with clean water and applying Hydrochloric acid and other detergents and drying in open all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact condition of the swimming pool before quoting the rate.

M&L for Pumping out water from the Garhwal swimming pool of size 25 x 9.5 M and Diving pool 4.5 M deep, Lime tank and Balancing tank (fresh water inflow tank), Bleaching tank etc by using pumpset, removing the sediments and mud, algae and cleaning the walls, floors, ducts, channels, surface of glazed tiles, painted and cemented surfaces by using scrappers, brushes, and other mechanical equipments, washing the surfaces with clean water and applying Hydrochloric acid and other detergents and drying in open all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Cleaning of RIMC new swimming pool 6,67,000 Gallon capacity, Diving and shallow pool with suction sweeper including cleaning the floor and walls of swimming pool using nylon brushes (one day before suction sweeping) all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of Garhwal swimming pool of size 25x9.5 mtr, Diving and shallow pool with suction sweeper including cleaning the floor and walls of swimming pool using nylon brushes (before suction sweeping) all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement, high density synthetic float ball of size 6” (150mm) with double hook for suction sweeper, all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement, flexible hose, ribbed type, high density, 40mm size, all as specified and directed. Make:- Dinoflex or equivalent.

S&F in replacement, Nylon brush of size 700x100 mm, for suction sweeper all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement, Nylon wheel for suction sweeper of dia 80mm, thickness 20mm.

&F in replacement, Nylon rope, 12mm dia for the suction sweeper, all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement, flexible hose, ribbed type, high density, 50mm size, all as specified and directed. Make:- Dinoflex or equivalent.

Taking down centrifugal pumping set from base frame including disconnection from coupling Kirloskar make 25 HP/ 20 HP capacity and shifting to workshop for repair and opening dismantling and overhauling complete parts, all parts cleaned by Kerosene oil neatly with and including replacement of defective spare parts by new parts including necessary welding machining/grinding work and nut, bolts, washer, studs if required at the time of refitting of spare into pump set and re-shifting, reinstallation on base frame with proper alignment with motor and testing on full discharge complete all as specified & directed. Note : Supply only of Spare parts required to be replaced during repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective item here-in-after. However fixing element shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of this itme.

(x) Stainless steel shaft with both end Stainless steel check nut duly grooved for key’s for impeller, coupling etc complete.

M&L for spray painting after scrapping of old dull paint from the surface and cleaning the surface properly and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over after one coat of red oxide primer of approved colour for the Pressure filter complete with inlet and outlet pipe lines, base frame of 250 Cum mtrs/Hr capacity complete all as specified and directed. Make: First quality of Asian / Nerolac / Berger.

Supply & fixing in replacement water pressure gauge glyserine filled of size 100 mm 0-7 kg/cm2, complete all as specified and directed. Make: H- Guru or equivalent.

M&L for spray painting after scrapping of old dull paint from the surface and cleaning the surface properly and two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a one coat of red oxide primer for the following:- Make: First quality of Asian / Nerolac / Berger.

(a) Pump/motor set of 10 to 20 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc.complete.

(b) Pump/motor set of 25 to 40 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc. complete.

(c) Pump/motor set of 50 to 75 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc. complete.

(d) Pump/motor set of 125 HP capacity including base frame, panel board including suction and delivery line upto 5 mtr with sluice valve and NRV etc. complete.

(e) Pump/motor set of suction sweeper (2.0 / 3.0 HP set) with trolly and base frme and connected metallic parts etc. complete.

M&L for cleaning of pump house area by means removing of debris, cutting of grass and disposed off up to a distance not more than 50mtr from the starting point all as directed at site at various pump houses under Zone ‘B’ area.

Dismantling /taking out defective CI non return valve & Supply and fixing CI Non return valve ball type flanged ends as per IS-5312 complete with Nuts/Bolts and washers and rubber packing and Model No B-5 (N) etc for the following sizes:- Make: Kirloskar/BIR/Kartar

Dismantling/taking out defective sluice valve from the existing pipe lines by opening/cutting corroded Nuts/bolts, removing of packing etc. complete and Supply and fixing CI sluice valve both end flanged dully drilled for both ends with stainless steel spindle and nuts, stuffing box etc. Type PN-1, ISI marked of following sizes :- Make: Sant/BIR/Kartar

Disconnecting and taking down unserviceable electric motor of capacity 40 HP 2900 RPM, 3 phase from base frame and shifting to workshop for rewinding, opening complete, taking out Rotor assembly from stator carefully and cutting/cleaning burnt winding wire from stator, carefully repairs to damage slots including Rewinding of stator with super enameled copper wire, gauge same as original & varnishing the same drying tapping with cotton tapes, all electrical connections shall be soldered properly, reassembling & reinstallation at site including testing at full load complete all as specified & direcetd. Make of winding wire : Devidyal or equivalent.

Operation and Maintenance of RIMC pump house No 1 & 2 (old & new tubewell) with trained man power consisting of Tube well , chlorine plant / chemical dosing plant, DG set, and its accessories on the following requirements:-

Notes: (a) The pump house shall be operated with one No FGM in each shift for three shifts in a day including sundays and holidays. The FGMs employed shall be ITI qualified with 05 years experience .

(b) Operator shall be responsible for proper recording of all operating parameters in the prescribed log book/ register all as directed.

(c) The work includes operation of Tube well, chloronome plant, DG set, routine maintenance of machinery, distribution of water as directed, cleaning of area etc as per direction of EIC.

(d) Operator will be responsible for timely collection of chemicals, POL, Engine oil from MES store yard as and when required.

(e) The work includes cleaning of pump house, maintaining of pump house premises as per direction of EIC.

(f) In case of power break down the contractor will liaise MRS to restore the power supply for running of plants.

(g) In case the plant remains unoperational due to absence of operator or any other default made by the contractor, the proportional recovery from the contractor will be made at the double the rate with reference to the quoted rates by the contractor for the entire shift irrespective of the period for which plant remained unoperational during a shift.

(h) Operators shall be equipped with mobile phone and number shall be intimated to the Engineer-in-Charge.

(j) All operators shall maintain healthy decorum and get themselves conversant with any visiting officers and office staff. They shall be in proper uniform with MES logos and name plates on chest as approved by Engineer-in-Charge.

(k) The tenderers are advised to visit the site to know the exact condition of the pump house before quoting the rate.

(l) Successful operation of the plant to the entire satisfaction of GE is sole responsibility of contractor.

Disconnecting the existing non functional submersible pump set from electric supply from panel, dismantling existing CI bend from non return valve, removing and lifting out submersible pump set of any description and capacity & in any position, alongwith existing column pipe 100mm dia and existing submersible cable of any size from the bore well ( up to 450 feet depth of pump set from GL) and staking the pump and column pipes near by the bore well for inspection complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : (i) Contractor shall take proper precautions while lifting out and removing pump set from bore well so as to avoid any damage to column pipe and submersible cable. All necessary T&P and equipments required for lifting out pump set etc shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost.

(ii) Number of column pipe may vary from 30 to 40. The existing pipes & flanged joints shall be checked for its serviceability & unserviceable joints alongwith flanges shall be removed from the column pipe by cutting the pipes & making new thread in pipes for fixing of new flange joint, the cost of same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate for above item. However cleaning of pipes and new MS pipes if any required shall be measured & paid separately.

Dismantling and strip opening of submersible pump & motor of any description and in any position for servicing /overhauling mechanically and electrically, cleaning, oiling/greasing, fixing of serviceable parts in position, removing & replacement of defective / unserviceable parts with new parts, welding , etc of broken steel sections of pump, reassembling the Pump & motor, ensuring proper alignment of pump and motor, connecting to existing system and testing at site on full load to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge for 40 to 70 HP capacity, 3 phase, 415 volts, 50 HZ, AC supply pumps & motors of make KSB/SU/CALAMA/KIRLOSKAR. Note: - (i) The replacement of defective / nonfunctional parts shall be measured & paid for separately as “Supply only” under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ and fixing rate for new items are deemed to include under these items. (ii) Burnt out windings of motor shall be replaced, measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Sch ‘A’ for rewinding.

(ii) The rates for above items are deemed to include transportation to & fro of pumps/ motors to workshop for necessary repairs. (b) The rate quoted for the item shall include re-metaling of Pump shaft, polishing and grinding and making standard size to match with Bush/Neck-ring/ sleeve etc (iii) Lifting of pump and motor from bore well and lowering of pump and motor after repairs shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' (iv) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include replacement of small/ minor parts i.e. washers, keys for coupling, cable packing ring etc.

Material and labour for replacement of rubber gasket 4mm thick of size 100mm joints in flanged end cast iron / MS column pipes and fittings and necessary nuts/bolts/washers all as specified and directed.
