Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.

Providing and fixing carbon steel galvanised (minimum coating 5 micron) dash fastener of 10 mm dia double threaded 6.8 grade (yield strength 480 N/mm2), counter sunk head, comprising of 10 mm dia polyamide PA 6 grade sleeve, including drilling of hole in frame, concrete/ masonry, etc. as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. a) 10 x 140 mm

Steel work in built up tubular (round, square or rectangular hollow tubes etc.) trusses etc., including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer, including welding and bolted with special shaped washers etc. complete. a) Electric resistance or induction butt welded tubes

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade: a) Two or more coats on new work

Providing and fixing 4 mm thick polycarbonate sheet solid embossed (Both side U.V. coated) of approved make & as per sample approved by Engineer-in-charge to be fixed at site on MS structural steel along with using 60 mm x 20 mm x 1.63 mm Alcox section, E.P.D.M rubber gasket and water proofing silicone sealant wherever required so as to make it water tight. Alcox section shall be fixed on M.S section with stainless fixing screws etc complete. The cost of Alcox Section is included in the quoted rate of agency. Cost of M.S tube/ MS section will be paid separately in respective BOQ item. Note : 1. Agency should quote their rates considering 4 mm thick polycarbonate sheet. 2. Agency should got design the entire concept of view cutter along with polycarbonate sheet from IIT/NIT/Govt. Engineering College as per BOQ item no. 6. 3. Any deviation ± (plus or minus) as per approved design of polycarbonate sheet of 4 mm thickness will be paid/ recovered accordingly. 4. Agency will submit the Guarantee bond for intact, safety and stability of entire view cutter steel structure along with polycarbonate sheet for a period of 05 (five) years after completion of work.

Providing Engineering Consultancy Services for Design & Drawing for View Cutter to be fixed at flyover (approx. height 12 mtr.) at Chandigarh International Airport in required shape (please refer PIC-1 & PIC-2 of tender document) to be provided with MS frame work along with polycarbonate sheeting including preparation of conceptual and detailed drawings, design of thickness of polycarbonate sheet, structural drawings with all relevant calculations sheet, stability report, execution methodology and vetting of structural design from IIT/NIT/Govt. Engineering College. The agency will submit 3 sets of structural drawings, Stability Report, along with design calculations duly vetted by IIT/NIT/Govt. Engineering College to the Engineer-in-charge. Note: 1. Agency will submit the Guarantee bond for intact, safety and stability of entire view cutter steel structure along with polycarbonate sheet for a period of 05 (five) years after completion of work.
