GEO TECHNICAL INVESTIGATION (LAND / ROAD ALIGNMENT) AT IN ND(V)

Mobilization and Demobilization of rotary drilling Rig equipment with all accessories and other necessary equipment for boring. Rate includes transportation of men and materials

Shifting of boring equipment with all accessories from one location to another location. Rate includes charges for all labour and material.

Boring 6” dia in all types of soils upto rock strata or hard rock. Drilling NX size boring upto 3m into rock and collection of core samples in hard rock. Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) as per IS : 2131-1981 upto the refusal depth of water table, collection of ground water samples. Carrying out NABL accredited laboratory test on collected soil samples and testing on rock samples as per requirement:- (a) Natural Moisture Content (b) Bulk Density and Dry Density (c) Specific Gravity (d) Grain Size Distribution (e) Atterberg Limits (f) Unconfined Compression Test (g) Triaxial Compression Test (h) Direct Shear Permeability Test (j) Type of characteristics of rock (k) Engineering Properties of rock Please quote rate for above activities for following depth of bore holes

Upto 15M depth

Between 15M till 30M depth

Above 30M depth

For Road Alignment: Drilling 50mm dia bore holes with Rotary drilling rig /equipment up to 8m or 1.5 times the height of embankment whichever is higher from the existing ground level @03 Nos as per KM laboratory tests on collected samples as per BIS/IRC codes to determine the type , structure strength/ stability parameters.

Conducting field CBR and excavating trail pits for required depth and collecting of soil samples for conducting lab CBR tests as per provisions of IS-2720 as per IRC guidelines codes @ minimum 03 Nos per KM

Liquefaction Potential Evaluation(LPE) : Evaluation of Liquefaction on potential of sub soil from SPT value at each 1.5M Depth interval and conducting test such as grain size analysis : atterberg limits, density of soil etc of soil collected from sites as per IS and preparation of reports

Consolidation Test : Carrying out consolidation test on undisturbed soil samples (UDS) representative of each soil layer to determine the consolidation properties Site for evaluation of consolidation settlement of soil , effect of primary and secondary consolidation as per IS:2720(Part -15) 1986 by consolidometer for finding coefficient of consolidation(Settlement of original ground due to overburden pressure of surcharge ) coefficient of compressibility and compression index , density , voids ration water content , liquid limits of soil layers, depth of water table in mason, increase in effective pressure on soil layers by standard test methods as directed and complete including preparation of the detailed report. (a) The consolidation tests shall be carried out at min 15 locations for final consolidation analysis as per the directions. (b) Conducting field Vane shear test in the bore holes excluding the cost of drilling bore holes

Submission of report consisting of bore logs, data sheets with laboratory test results and recommendation for the type of foundation for construction of structures. In case where pile foundations are recommended vertical, uplift and lateral capacities of piles to be clearly brought out. Note for all above Items: (i)During the Geo Techincal Investigation carried out in the past at various location near Naval Docyard, the average depth of bore holes upto Rock starta or hand rock is observed to be ranging between 20-25M. (ii)The average depth of bore holes for conduct of Geo Technical Investigation at Rambihilli in found to be more than 30M.

GPR SURVEY

Mobilization and Demobilization of GPR equipment and personnel including < 1000 Sqm GPR Survey to find out Electrical and Instrumentation cable (Live or dead), drain line all types of pipeline , Sewage line, oil pipline etc upto a depth of 5 meters.

GPR Survey for area exceeding 100Sqm

Interpretation and preparation of report for complete site
