RE TENDER FOR DEMOLITION OF OLD SUPERSTRUCTURE & CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SUPERSTRUCTURE INCLUDING OVERALL MAINTENANCE + PATCH REPAIRING OF ABUTMENT ,PIER & PIER CAP DEMOLITION OF OLD SUPERSTRUICTURE & CONSTRUCTION OF NEW SUPERSTRUCTURE OF H.L RCC BRIDGE OVER DAHA RIVER IN 27TH KM OF CHHAPRA-MANJHI-DARAULI-GUTHNI ROAD IN SARAN DISTRICT.

Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type or of approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes etc. and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge Average Thickness =50 mm.

Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust free steel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint.

Providing and applying of anticorrosive treatment to exposed structural reinforcement by two coats of IPNET RB or equivalent application with time interval of minimum 8 -10 hours between each coat after application of two coats of alkaline rust converting primer confirming to ASTM-B-117. The application shall be done by brush or spray after cleaning existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush to make the surfaces free from loose material, dirt etc. inclusive of all labour, materials, equipment etc. complete as per specifications and instructions of Engineer in Charge. (Surface area of member shall be measured for payment purpose).

Epoxy bonding of new concrete to old concrete.

Sealing of crack/porous concrete with epoxy grout by injection thorugh nipples complete as per clause 2803.1 .

Providing and inserting nipples with approved fixinjg compound after drilling holes for grouting as per technical specifications including subsequent cutting/ removal and sealing of hole as necessary of nipples sfter completion of grouting with cement/epoxy.

Patching of damaged concrete surface with polymer concrete and curing compounds,initiator and promoter,available in present formulations, to be applied as per instructions of manufacturer and as approved by the Engineer.

Supplying,fiiting and fixing in position true to line and level eleastomeric bearing conforming to IRC:83 (Part-II) sextion-IX and clause 2005 of Mort&H specification complete all accessories as per drawing and technical specifications.

Dismanting of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structures comprising of masonary, cement concrete, wood work, steel work including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material with all lift & lead of 1000 metres (ii) By mechanical means (B) Prestressed /Reinforced cement concrete grade M-20 & above.

Supplying, fitting and Placing HYSD bar reinforcement in superstructure complete as per drawing and technical specifications.

Furnishing and placing reinforced/prestressed cement concrete in super-structure as per drawing and technical specification. RCC/PSC Grade M35 - Using batching palnt, transit mixer and Concrete pump. For T-Beam & Slab - Height 5m to 10m.

Construction of precast RCC railing of M30 Grade, aggregate size not exceeding 12mm, true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500, centr to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000mm, leaving adequatespace between vertical post for expansion, complete as per approved drawings and technical specifications.

Road aluminium stud with micro prismatic lens reflector (with shank) 100X100mm.

Deleneators from ISI certified firm as per the standard drawing given in IRC -79.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion using emulsiuon pressure distribiutor at the rate of 0.30kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

Prividing and laying bituminous concrete with higher capacity batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregate of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder @ 5.2 percent of mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alighnment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tendom rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MORT&H specification clause npo. 507 complete in all respects.

Providing and laying of strip seal expansion joint catering to maximum horizontal movement upto 70mm, complete as per approved drawings and standarad specifications to be installed by the manufacturer/supplier or their authorised representative ensuring compliance to the manufacturer's instruction for installation.

Providing and placing high strength, non shrink, pre- packed, free flow micro concrete having compressive strength of 60 MPa at 28 days (compresssive strength of one day should not be less than 25 MPa) . The micro concrete mix shall be prepared by mixing high strength, non shrink, pre- packed, free flow micro concrete powder with well graded cleaned crushed aggregates of 10mm & down size (Aggregates should be less than 10mm but retained on 3.36mm) in proportion of 2:1 (Two part pre-packed micro concrete powder : one part stone aggregates) by weight for repairing excessively damaged area of structural elements/Jacketing work/expansion joint repair etc. excluding reinforcement but including scaffolding, curing as per manufacturer's specificatons inclusive of all labours, materials, equipments etc. all complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:-High strength, Non shrink, prepacked, free flow micro concrete powder content considered in this item is 1450 kg/cum).

Providing and painting with approved quality two or more coats of anti-carbonation paint, single component, flexible, elastomeric coating based on acrylic co-polymer coating and compatible primer coat as per manufacturer’s specifications and the direction of Engineer-in-Charge over un-plastered concrete surface of piers and superstructures after cleaning and removing dirt, dust, oil, grease, efflorescence to obtain an even surface and applying paint @0.44 kg per sqm and primer @ 0.22 kg per sqm, total dry film thickness (DFT) of the coating shall not be less than 150 microns including all scaffolding, testing of materials etc necessary tools, plants, machinery with all leads, lifts and depths and all related operations as required to complete the work as per drawings, specifications and directions of Engineer- in- Charge. Note:- The work shall be carried out only through approved applicator of manufacturer. The manufacturer/ applicator shall provide a guarantee of satisfactory performance of anti carbonation coating for 5 years through contractor.

Dismantling of flexible pavements and disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable and unserviceable materials separately by Manual Means

Granular Sub-Base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1). Plant Mix Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing close graded Material, mixing in a mechanical mix plant at OMC, carriage of mixed Material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per clause 401. Rate per cum for grading-I Material

Wet Mix Macadam (Plant Mix Method): Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base / base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density.

Prime Coat over WMM/WBM: Providing and applying primer coat with SS1 grade bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means.

Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface (Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5 mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 . The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.)
