Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying/taking out of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.

Supply and laying precast concrete cable cover, class LV type 1, flat of size 250mmx150mmx40mm, complete all as specified and directed.

Relaying only well burnt brick sub class 'B' old size brick laid dry in trenches with width equal to the length of the brick , complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Bricks are to be reused retrived during the cable taking out against respective items.

Material and labour for Boring hole under road/ pavement / hardstanding by trenchless technology using ultrasound technique & necessary machine for inserting HDPE pipe of 50MM dia suitable for 0.4 Mpa working pressure, rate for HDPE pipe shall be included in quoted rate, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying / fixing , GI pipe light grade 40mm dia bore for cable protection, laid in trenches or fixed to pole/wall or laid under floor/road/pavement including all fittings and taking out old and removal, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying / fixing , GI pipe light grade 50mm dia bore for cable protection, laid in trenches or fixed to pole/wall or laid under floor/road/pavement including all fittings and taking out old and removal, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Finding/locate fault in LT 1100 Volts grade cable of any size and depth with the help of cable fault locator instrument of latest design, cable laid in trenches, floor or pipe and rectification the same, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) The fault shall be rectified within 6hrs from receiving complaint telephonically/SMS by JE or AGE E/M , if the fault is not rectified within 6hrs, the penalty of Rs. 500.00 per hour shall be recovered from the contractor.

Material and labour in replacement of earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron strip of size 32 mmx6 mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers, connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe light grade 40mm dia bore, and watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI light grade with funnel & wire mesh including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note(s) :- (i) RCC pit cover shall be pre-cast of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM not less than 4Kg/Sqm. (ii) PCC chamber shall be constructed 500 mm away from the edge of earth pit. (iii) Rate shall include GI strip and protection pipe of length 7.5m, excess beyond 7.5m length required at site shall be measured and paid separately. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 3Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 3 Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.
