Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50m wide and not exceeding 1.50m depth for foundation, for laying of pipes/cables/poles/manholes etc.and getting out in soft soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Item No. 1 above but depth exceeding 1.50 metre and not exceeding 3.0 metre.

Material and labour for fine and dry sand, cushioning for underground cable, by providing a layers of sand 8cm deep before laying and 15cm deep after laying the cable including stretching the cable and punning sand cushioning complete all as specified and as directed. Note - Punned thickness of sand layer shall only be measured and paid to contractor.

Supply and laying un-reinforced, precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type 1, flat, of size 300 mm x180 mm x40 mm complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, in soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick each layer complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material/soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down/out of existing old unservicable cable of any size, any type from trench, duct, under road and/or railway track/highway etc complete including necessary excavation and earthwork complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying XLPE insulated , screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty), 11000 Volts grade, with stranded aluminium conductor, of cross sectional area 185 Sq mm 3 core, suitable for 11 KV earthed system and laying in trenches/walls/ducts/passing through pipe etc.and testing after laying including taking down of old unservicable existing cable of any size complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for auguring of hole of suitable dia and providing heavy duty HDPE pipe (PE 63 pressure class, PN6 grade) of size 150/160mm dia in true horizontal drill under existing National Highway Road and railway track between mast No. 263/24-26 and 263/23-25 between Ambala City Railway Station on UMB-RPJ (Ambala Cantt- Rajpura Junction) Railway Section complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The auguring of horizontal hole will be carried out through trenchless horizontal boring machine. (ii) The boring shall be carried out 3 metre deep below the railway track level and NH 1A line. (iii) During carrying out the work below railway track and NH 1A, the contractor shall adhere to the instructions issued and to be followed by the respective authorities. The work will be carried out under the supervision of MES and Railway/Highway authorities. (iv) Any damage to the existing property like sewage pipes, cables, water pipes etc of all the authorities will be repaired/replaced to the entire satisfaction of respective authorities without any extra cost. Department in no way will be responsible for such damages. (v) The quoted rate shall include all the above and excavation, working space for trenchless boring, HDPE pipe, machinary, transportation, DG Set, labour charges etc. complete and nothing extra is admissible on this account.

Supply and fixing light grade, GI tubing, of size 100mm dia, with all fittings and fixtures for cable protection and fixed with clamp to pole and wall with nuts and bolts or laid in trenches/road crossing etc.complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for HT, 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 to 120 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for HT, 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 150 to 225 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable end termination jointing kit for HT, 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable, outdoor type, heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 to 120 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable end termination jointing kit for HT, 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor type, heat shrinkable type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 150 to 225 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour cable route indicator/cable joint indicator made of cement concrete solid block of size 45cm x 30cm x 15cm, in arc shape at top keeping above ground level duly engraved as "LT/HT Cable" or "LT/HT cable joint" as per requirement including necessary excavation and earthwork and grouted in ground with PCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates of block size 150mmx150mmx150mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply prestressed concrete pole, 11m long, minimum cross section 152mmx152mm at top and minimum cross section 152mmx260mm at bottom, class 9, conforming to IS-1678, painting/marking the pole in 30cm height strips, 5 Nos white and black with two coats of approved colour synthetic enamel paint and erected in true vertical position as directed including dismantling and taking down of old unservicable pole of any type complete all as specified.

Material and labour for plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates) as in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed

Material and labour for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates) as in coping of poles, struts, stays and around the pole including necessary formwork and finishing the exposed surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size for HT 11000 volts, of size 25x20cm complete all as specified and directed. Note: Clamps, nuts and bolts shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply, fix, testing and commissioning air break, gang operated, triple switch (GOD), outdoor type, vertical mounting type, of capacity 400 Amps with drop out fuse consisting of 12 insulators, ISI marked, mechanically operated for horizontal or vertical mounting on insulator and steel frame with GI operation rods of suitable length and size, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, with locking arrangement including Godrej padlock with two keys with fuse carrier and HT fuse element having 200 Amp rating suitable for HT 11000 volts, 50 Hz, AC supply, 3 phase including all necessary electrical connections complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix lightning arresters, suitable for HT, 11 KV, expulsion type, complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 KA complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick GI plate electrode buried in ground vertically not less than 2.25mtrs deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtrs below ground level with GI wire of size 4.0mm dia as earthing lead with bolts, nuts, checknuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in Electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified including testing on completion including necessary excavation and earth work (in any of strata) providing charcoal dust, salt mixed with fine sand in continuous layers, PCC (1:3:6 ) type C1 in chamber, Precast 50 mm thick in cement (1: 2:4) type B.1 with CI frame with cover, 20mm dia bore light grade GI watering pipe furnel etc fixing of GI Pipe 15 mm bore protection for earthing strip from earth pit to test point complete & making connection all directed.

Material and labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of primer including taking down of existing old unservicable cross arms, bracings etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for pin type, porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut single in assembly with suitable size of clamps/metal parts, for 11000 Volts grade of 150mm height and 150mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing of disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous with overall dimension of 145mm high and 255mm dia, ball and socket type, white, brown or green for tension with tension clamps for conductors and working pressure of 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) including fixing, stretching on poles and proper noselling using binding wire with insulator of any size as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix retro reflective sign board of size 600 mm x 750 mm, made up of MS angle iron section 35mm x 35 mm x 4mm frame and 3 mm thick ACP sheet fixed in the frame and this frame work grouted in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 keeping 750mm height above ground level and 600mm below ground level including providing red colour retro reflective tape on background of board and letters and border of board with white retro reflective tape including necessary excavation, earthwork, PCC, nuts, bolts, fasteners, two coats of approved colour synthitic enamel painting to MS frame work above ground level and tarring the frame work below the ground complete all as specified and directed. Note:- The size of letters and description on board shall be as approved and decided by GE.

Material and labour for stay assembly complete with all accessories such as stay plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, stay rod of 20mm dia and 215cm long threaded end with nut including 14mm dia GI stay bow, turn buckle etc. complete all as shown in electrical plate No. 1 complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Cost of stay bow, turn buckle, stay wire, loop type insulator, stay clamp etc are included in quoted rates. (ii) Excavation, Earthwork, concrete shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for anti climbing devices; spikes type, fabricated from MS bars (round, square and flat) comprising 2.24mm dia galvanised steel 2-strand barbed wire with 2.00mm dia barbs wrapped spirally round poles, to a length of 0.5 to 1.0 metre clamped and properly secured or as ordered (clamps measured separately) complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- Amount of credit of Rs. 96,380.00 for retrieved materials is mentioned in Schedule of Credit on Page No. 62 of tender documents in pdf form which will be deducted offline while acceptance of tender.
