Schedule A 2 Gravity main and Distribution system
GRAVITY MAIN& DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM:- Excavation in foundations and trenches (for pipes and pits) upto all depths etc. in all kinds of soil such as pick work, jumper work and saturated soil including bailing or pumping out of water, chiseling or wedging out of same where blasting is prohibited in all leads and lifts including trimming and dressing of sides, leveling of beds to correct grade including shoring strutting, planking timbering and dewatering wherever required, stacking useable and unusable material/soil separately and after laying jointing and testing of pipes, returning the useable soil in 15 cm layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated soil/unusable material as directed within all leads and lifts Excluding restoration of unmetaled/ mattelled surfaces to its original condition ( will be paid separately) and including cost of diversion of traffic, night signal boards, fixing caution boards, crossing over trenches for access to houses, fencing etc. complete in all respects within all leads and lifts as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge. Providing, laying, jointing and testing in trenches of Galvanized MSERW flanged/butt welded pipes including cost of flanged bends of all degrees conforming to IS/ISO:3183-2007 with steel grade PSL-1,L-210,L-290 or X-42 ( with upto date ammendements )having wall thickness as specified below with plain end and capable of withstanding required test pressure in random length of 4 to 7 meters, including specials, short pieces, bends, reducers, tees etc. made from parent tube.The M.S. flanges are to be provided 5% of total joints and remaining 95% joints with butt welded joints as per table below. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in three layers (one inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes confirming to BIS 1364 (with upto date ammendments). 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees,valves etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe. The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with upto date ammendments) with mass of zink coating not less than 400 gm/m2. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make.Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches and flanged joint shall be measured and paid for separately).After getting the design approved from competent authority, If there will be any change in the class and thickness of Rising main, the cost of the same will be paid on pro-rata basis.

The Forged Steel flanges are to be provided on each joint as per table given below conforming to ANSI 16.5 B and welding of flanges with electrodes as per relevants codes including required number & size of nuts and bolts as per relevants codes and asbestos fibre jointing gasket sheet not less than 3mm thickness as per relevants codes . The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joints leak proof and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. Schedule A3 Pumping machinery & Electrical works
Supply ,Installation ,Testing & Commissioning with automation (To be paid separately) energy efficient Submersible pumping set approved preferred make by the Jal Shakti Department ( Data Sheet No : 16) conforming to latest relevant BIS Code 8034:1976. The pump should be fitted with bronze impeller or suitable alloys suitable for handling Clear water having greased packed bearings and shaft with wound stator on motor side and with soft protection sleeve on pump side ensuring better life for shaft coupled to a submersible squirrel cage electric induction motor (water proof type) of required HP & 2900/1450 rpm of reputed make conforming to BIS 9283-1979 latest with upto date amendments, totally dust and water proof for submersible duty isolated from the pump by intermediate casing with double mechanical seal in oil chamber and grease packed lubricated bearings and provided with stainless steel thrust bearing plate to with stand non vertical loads with minimum wear and tear. It should also be fitted with a device to take up expansion of water with the heating of motor. The pump set should include water level guards, erection clamps , cable clips, depth gauge NRV & Sluice valves of approved class etc. The work should be completed to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in – Charge. The HP are indicative.Since the re-survey and re-design of proposal/scheme is to be carried out by the lowest bidder, the design/drawings so approved by the competent authority after finalisation of design and drawings,any variation in HP and other accessories etc.The rate shall be worked out on prorata basis after approval of the competent authority and payment will be made accordingly.The rates shall be for complete Job to run the machinery in proper working. and should meet with the requirements. PUMPING MACHINERY CENTRIFUGAL:- Supply ,Installation ,Testing & Commissioning with automation (To be paid separately) of energy efficient horizontal spindle, horizontal/ radial split casing/end suctions (back pull out arrangement)single/double/multistage centrifugal pump suitable for operation, in parallel of recommended make of approved preffered make by the Jal Shakti department ( Data Sheet No 16)confirming to BIS-1520-1980 with upto date ammendments, read with IS:9137-1978 or latest edition suitable for lifting clear water for under mentioned characteristics with bronze/Bronze with 2.5% Nickel impellers, dia of 405mm priming funnels, casing ring and shaft sleeves of bronze/ steel, shaft of SS:410/AIS 1431 Chrome in plated with cast iron casing coupled directly through a flexible coupling on a Common MS base plate to squirrel cage screen protected drip proof induction motor/TEFC/CACA of standard make/ approved preffered make by the Jal Shakti department ( Data sheet No : 16) and suitable for operation on 11 KV HT, 50 cycles/second 3 phase AC electric supply. The power of electric motor/motors should be at least (+) 10% in excess of the maximum power required by the pump/pumps in the operation range of (+) 10% and (-) 15% of the duty point head. The motor/motors should be as per IS: 325-1978 with upto date amendments read with IS:900-1972. The starting current of the motor shall be limited to not more than 4.5 to 5 times of full load current.
It should include cost of bearing nuts, bolts and painting etc and should meet the following requirement (as per data sheet No. 13) including Pump sets (working + standby), All electrical equipments such as Starter, ICTP switches, MCB, Bush bar chamber, MCB, Panel board indicating lamps, Ammeter, Voltmeter, Hour run meter should be of electronic type , incoming and outgoing water proof cable for panel board, Double loop earthing, copper cable pressure gauge, capacitor, common header, sluice valve, NRV including erection and testing complete necessary piping for suction and common header and control valves alongwith electrical works including all taxes, insurance, transportation, freight charges, inspection charges, loading, unloading, conveyance to Departmental stores/ site, stacking, etc. including specials and wastage etc.; complete as per Tender Specifications and instruction of Engineer in charge. The MS flanges shall confirm to BIS 6392-1971 (with latest up to date amendments) duly welded in three layers (one inner and two outer) with pipes at both ends as per relevant BIS standards along with nuts and bolts of required sizes confirming to BIS 1364 (with upto date ammendments). 3mm thick compressed asbestos fiber/synthetic rubber gaskets confirming to relevant BIS standards. The laying of pipe shall include all operation such as cutting, welding, jointing, providing & fixing of MS flanges, fabrication of bends, tees,valves etc. including lowering and laying in excavated trenches to ensure required level including flushing, cleaning and hydraulic testing complete in all respects to the satisfaction of the Engineer in charge. The fabricated bends shall have three or four cuts having its radius not less than five times the dia of pipe.
The pipes shall be factory galvanized (zinc coating both inside and outside) as per IS:4736 -1986 (with upto date ammendments) with mass of zink coating not less than 400 gm/m2. The welding electrodes shall be as per IS 814:2004 of Advani Oerlikon/ L&T or ISI marked make.Negative tolerance in thickness and mass/weight will not be accepted. The rates also includes entire carriage of material, flushing, cleaning & hydraulic testing complete to the best satisfaction & direction of Engineer in charge with in all leads and lifts. (Earth work in trenches and flanged joint shall be measured and paid for separately).After getting the design approved from competent authority, If there will be any change in the class and thickness of Rising main, the cost of the same will be paid on pro-rata basis.

The Forged Steel flanges are to be provided on each joint conforming to ANSI 16.5 B and welding of flanges as per relevant codes with electrodes as per relevant codes including required number & size of nuts and bolts as per relevant codes and asbestos fibre jointing gasket sheet not less than 3mm thickness as per relevant codes. The welding of flanges to be done on both faces in two layers to make the joints leak proof and to entire satisfaction of the Engineer-in-charge. AUTOMATION OF ENTIRE SYSTEM :- The Tenderer /form shall automate the scheme along with pumping machinery & other units( as per Technical specifications given in Vol-II and Data Sheet No :11) scheme up to MBR-I & three storage tanks( as decided by the Engineer- in Charge) and shall be automated in such a way that these are automatically oprated at pre fixed / time or any othe logic decided by the department and oprated fromm main SCADA center at main Pump house , the entire automation is to be carriedout as per the technical data sheet for Electrical instrumentation and automation works volume -III in accordance with the technical specification for automation atteched in volume -II . Electromagnatic flow meter of approved makes shall be provided at each storage reservior outlets and its output in the shape of total quantum od water delever in a hours day and month shall be genrated at main control station . GSM based devises shall be installed at each tank location , which shall sand masseges through SCADA station at remote access location at main Pump House. The Data transmission system at each tank concist of field instruments for providing digital and analog signal to Data transfar module. The module shall have a comnication to web data transfer system modle comunication. The control /RTU station shall have control station with programmeble grafic process, Mimices , Realy time and hystorical trending face plate and groop display , alarm management and report with lazer Jet Printer and required fruniture. At each Tank locations controlling devices hsall be installed with water metre sensors, flow transmitters, level transmitters in each tanks. Installation of Hardware along with commissioning / programming as per user requirement shall be done. The Detail automation proposal shall be got approved by the firm from the competent authority. Firm has to incorporate all the inputs and outputs suggested by the department in the SCADA. To automised the entire schemes up to junction points of all slected storage tanks( Decision for finalisation of proposal lies with the department without assigning any reasion ) As per relevent data sheet and scope work( reffer Vol-II technical specificatiob and vol-III Data sheet No : 15
