od20604/2019_2020 : cleaning the expansion joint properly with wire brush and coir brush fitting aluminium strops on the joints at 30cm interval for holding the rubber hose, putting one inch rubber hose as per the required width of the joint pressed and tightened it properly . putting poly ethylene sheets on the rubber hose fitting the joints with polysuphide sealant in 12.5mm depth and 25mm width and pouring dry sand while drying the poly sulphide sealant for doing the further bituminous tarring etc. complete for proving expansion joints of the bridge.
