Dismantling and taking down old unsv earthing and M&L for earthing complete with galvanized steel plate earth electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm thick surrounded by char coal and salt buried directly in ground vertically in pit of depth not less then 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of the earth plate at depth of not less then 1.5 mtr below ground level surrounded from all sides by charcoal dust and common salt in alternate layers of 40 cm depth and earth plate electrode connected to galvanised earth strip of 32x6 mm dia by means of GI nuts bolts, check nuts and washers and connected to earthling test point drawn through 40 mm dia GI pipe for protection of GI earth strip including 20 mm dia GI pipe for watering GI funnel , PCC earth pit (1:3:6) type C-2 with CI frame and RCC cover in cement concrete 1:2;4 type B-I all as shown in electrical Plate No 3 on SSR Part-I including testing all as directed by Engr-In-Charge.

Dismantling and taking down old unsv earthing andM&L for Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6mm thick buried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to galvanized iron earth lead 4 mm dia size by mean of nut/bolt and washer of galvanized iron or steel as shown in electrical plate no 5 of SSR part I including necessary excavation and earth work GI pipe 20mm dia light grade for watering and GI 15mm dia light grade pipe for protection of GI earth wire etc, PCC chamber with RCC cover in cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B1(20mm graded aggregate), funnel, wire mesh, charcoal dust, salt layers each layer thickness should be 15 cm (layer start from below the electrode plate to above plate) etc including testing complete all as specified and as directed. (resistance should be less than 1 ohm).

M&L in replacement for supply, installation, testing and commissioning of pure copper pipe electrode chemical earthing maintenance free earthing based on 3 mtr long copper pipe 50 mm dia (ID) with wall thickness of 3 mm, copper strip 25 x 4 mm ( strip in pipe type electrode )and copper pipe electrode shall be filled with MFC for improvement of conductivity of electrode, 120 KGS approx of BFC shall be filled around the copper pipe elecrode . Rate included for testing,commisioning,earth work including checking of earth continuity and earth result complete all as specified and directed. Vendors are bound to get earthing result less than or upto1 Ohm with or without grid of earthings(Maximum number of new earthings in grid are restricted to 3 nos) Copper strip required for interconnection of earth pits in grid must be laid 2 ft below the ground level and the same must be treated with chemical (BFC) if required to achieve resistance value. Rate is included for boring of earthing in any type of soil/rock upto 200 mm bore.Continuity of good earth resistance shall maintained upto 1 year and testing will be carried out monthly by MES authority.Copper strip must be connected with copper pipe electrode and at other joints through nut bolt in addition to brazing complete all as specified and directed. (i) Earth strip from top connector of electrode to test point and further connection to LT panel/AF equipments/ for grid of earthing shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Maximum no. of New earthings to be connected in grid are restricted to 03 Nos.

M&L in replacement for chemical earthing complete with maintenance free one earth electrode, made of High Tensile low carbon steel circular rod, molecularly bonded copper, UL Certified Rod with 1 gun metal clamp and 25kg of ROHS approved Compound with following specifications:- (A) Earth Electrode:- (i) Copperbodning Thickness- above 254 micron on outer surface. (ii) Copperboned Rod Dia- 25 mm UL listed 254 micron copperbonding. (iii) Copper purity should be 99.9%. (iv) Copper grade is as per IS 191. (v) Length- 3.0 mtr, 10 feet. (vi) UL Certified CBR with embrossed marking for genunity. (vii) CPRI Tested at 5 positive and 5 negative impulse- 25 kA and 55 kA. (viii) Meets the requirement as per IS 3043, IEC 60364-5-54, UL 467. (ix) ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System. (B) Earth Enhancement Compound:- (i) Product-Maintenance free Chemical compound of 25 kg Bag each. (ii) Standard - As per IS - 3043 and IEEE80- 2000, Test certificate from NABL Lab. (iii) Resistivity after compression- 0.0752 ohms per mtr. (iv) Solubility in Water- 0.94. (v) Chemical composition - As per IS Standard. (vi) Retaining Moisture Capacity (Ph Value)- 7.12. (vii) ROHS Complying IEC 62561-7.(C) Pit Chamber- Round Value Box:- Supply of Poly Plastic heavy duty U V resistant, weather proof environment friendly earth pit cover with cover of auto-locking facility with 2 knock-out openings are provided for the easy strips between the earth pits.
