(A) Main PEB Hangar
(i) Excavation in hard and dense soil
(ii) PCC 1:4:8 type D2 as in foundation concrete
(iii) Sub Structure : RCC M-30 design mix and CRS steel reinforcement in piles, pile caps, columns & plinth beam. ATT treatment, RFR, filling under floor etc.
(iv) Super structure: Superstructure is to be of steel PEB (as shown in drawing), PEB Structure is to be designed duly considering the soil investigation report and Design parameters attached as Annexure 'C' & Annexure 'D' to Schedule 'A' respectively. Galvalume sheet wall cladding with over lap of 150 mm shall be provided to enclose the front and rear side of hangar. | 2.01(v) Roof & cladding: Galvalume sheet roofing 0.6mm TCT, coated with camouflage pattern fixed to the structural steel sections as per manufacturer's instructions (vi) Flooring : Flooring inside hangar shall be of 5mm thick epoxy flooring including marking over 220mm thick PQC with flexural strength of 45 Kg/cm² over 1.0mm thick transparent polythene sheet over 10 mm thick sand cushioning over 125 mm thick dry lean concrete of M-10 grade over 150 mm thick WMM in single layer of compacted thickness of 150 mm thick over 200 mm thick granular sub base over compacted/rammed sub base, including forming dummy joints 6-8 mm wide and 100 mm deep by sawing and filled with sealing compound, including forming expansion joints filled with 20-25 mm thick approved joint filer board and sealed with sealing compound including construction joint 10 mm wide and 25 mm deep including sealing compound all complete as specified. (vii) Plinth protection of PCC 1:3:6 type C2 over 100 mm thick hard core on rear side only (viii) Bird proofing for hangar ceiling and for main hangar door opening on front side: Bird proofing system in ceiling shall be designed to allow access to repair hangar ceiling lights. No gaps in bird proofing shall be left in hangar ceiling. Bird proofing for door opening shall be designed for motorized operation as well as manual operation by single individual. The cables & pulleys shall be designed to prevent any disengagement of the cables from the pulley system during operation. | ||||||
| 2.02(ix) Hangar door: Main hangar door shall be factory prefabricated with maximum 8 leaves and assembled at site with doors to be convex out side. Motor driving unit shall be designed for smooth acceleration & deceleration while starting & stopping and the unit shall be covered against weather/ rain. The drainage of channels of hangar door shall be planned to allow cleaning of channel and rain water disposal. Drains to be connected to the nearest main drain of the project. Channel drainage system for heavy duty applications as per BS EN 1433:2002 up to & including load class F900 to be planned to dispose off all water/ lubricants from the hangar area. | ||||||
