Operation and maintenance of the slow sand filter bed under Zone-4 consists with the extension series SSFB unit No– E-1, 2, 5,6,9,10,14,16 & 18at IGWTP. (i.e.-ROUND THE CLOCK operation of SSFB units during all the pre scheduled time-spans, openning and closing of inlet/outlet/siphon/drain Valves as required, operation of the dewatering pump , checking/monitoring of the rate of flow of ssfb units and also recording of datas related to the SSFB units (Zone-4), recording of the octagonal /NST level, disinfection activities, drain silt pit cleaning, Cleaning of algae/moss etc from SSFB Units, removal of 1st & 2nd cut sand, upkeeping of entire SSFB area(Zone-4) and all other related works, as per direction of E.I.C., as mentioned in the scope of work in Tender Document.) in order to maintain the uninterrupted services of the SSFB units. (For the period of first 12 months.

Labour component (29% of Total cost) : This monthly cost remains unaltered from the date of commencement of work till a new order (as per circular of mpl. Secretary as indicated in the Tender Document ) comes in effect. This also indicates the base cost upon which the first increment will be in effect.

Other than labour component (71% of Total cost) : This monthly cost remains unaltered from the date of commencement of work till end of the contract period. This also indicates the base cost upon which monthly will be determined.
