Cost includes necessary welding and alteration of any mismatching holes to the members wherever required complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer -in-charge (NOTE:Rate includes cost of all operations involved in hoisting and erection of tower including hire and labour charges of tools, plants and machineries , all insurane, safety provision etc all complete and nothing extra will be paid) | |||||
| 3Tightening of nuts and bolts of existing tower and horizontal gantry including platforms from bottom to ultimate height. The rate includes labour charges for marking the cetrer points at different levels on the tower on at least two perpendicular faces for testing the verticality of tower after above operations and recrifying the tilt/sway within the permissible limits as per IS:12843:1989. The cost of the tools and plants required in the operation is to be borne by the agency. The rate includes all labour charges and insurance charges for workmen involved and all miscellaneous incidental charges etc., complete in the above operation as per the directions of Engineer-in-charge. | |||||

| 4Providing and fixing galvanised high tension grip bolts and nuts of grade 5.6 with plain and spring washers wherever old ones are missing/rusted in the existing towers of different sizes as required at site. The operation includes all labour, tools and plants required for fixing bolts, nuts & washers all complete as per the direction of Engineer -in-charge. | |||||
| 5Providing and fixing missing tower material with Structural steel work reveted, bolted or welded in build up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting hoisting, fixing in position with glavanized steel sections consisting of Angles, flats, plates fabricated as per approved drawings in gratings, frames and similar locations. The galavanising shall be as per IS: 4759 with avaerage mass of zinc coating of 610gm/sqm (Approximately 85 micron). The steel sections shall be of M.S. grade 'A' as per IS: 2062. Cost of galvanization is inclusive. The payment shall be made as per the standard structural steel tables for the bare steel sectional weights. All complete as directed by the Engineer- in- Charge. | |||||
| 6Mechanical transportation of tower members comprising MS angles , flats , plates, pipes nuts and bolts etc of varying sizes and lengths from specified location to Tallapalem or any Telecom compound or as specified to distant location within the 60km lead .The entire lot of tower members shal be transported in a single lot . The Job includes cost of collection of all members with required lead, loading and unloading of tower members at desired location complete as per directions of Engineer -in-charge. (Nothing extra shall be paid over and above the rate on any account). | |||||
